A great amount of historical accuracy in an interesting medieval setting. Knights, polearms, French and English galore!

The world of Perisno is huge and allows vast customisation (your own troop tree and crafting of items), has epic quests (bring new factions to life) and lets you face the powerful invading Zann forces.
A large number of factions, minor factions and troop trees allows you to choose your allegiance and troop composition that best fits your preference.

This is a beautiful mod abut the Crusader kingdoms. It is a lot of fun to join a kingdom and eventually get an army of knights that kicks up dust while charging at the Muslim lines.
The only criticism I have is a lack of additional features for the late game when you are a powerful lord or king. Also the visual variety is a bit lacking, the different kingdoms are very uniform.
Other than that, an excellent historical mod for M&B:W.

My favorite things about the mod are the unique achievements, the beautiful equipment (especially shields and armor sets) and of course all the different troop types and minor factions you can encounter and will have to deal with.
However the feature of joining and even creating your own Knighthood Order makes PoP truly stand out from other mods and is a great long time goal for a player.
