It's Prophesy of Pendor, what more can be said about it? It's just such a great mod which really takes the Native base and deepens it in every conceivable way.

A great update, to a great mod, it adds a lot of flavour to an already excellent product, the new start dynamics are very neat, and the new spawns make the game more interesting. The overall feel of the mod has also changed, with a lot of new pretty graphics

Knighthood parties and kingdom armies recruit farmers and as a result half of their armies are filled with trash troops.

Companions don't use the same codes as Noldor, which causes archers to charge needlesly.

Some of the troops are buffed excessively which creates an artificial difficulty.

After playing some time, the tavern music and sounds can get stuck and can be heard the entire time.

Hands down the worst mod I've played for Warband. I've never seen so many things broken in favor of the enemy. So much broken false difficulty BS. Dark Souls 2 was more satisfying in terms of masochistic annoyances. 80,000 dollars on the best armor in the game, and as you sprint by on the fastest horse in the game, you get one tapped by the weakest troop in the game. Frequently. Also 100% Horse Cripple Chance. That's not a joke. AI broken grossly in favor of the enemy. Go into battle and give yourself a teammate, then put the same type of unit on the enemy team. Enemy team will when 100% of the time due to the "advanced AI." There's your high difficulty for you. Play 20 hours to realize it's easier on your allies for you to sit the fight out, because they'll actually do better with you off the field. My twenty odd kills once I'm out there don't matter, when as long as I'm on the field I need two units for every enemy in order to beat them. Or I could sit the fight out for a few moments and let the "advanced AI" even the odds, so it's fair. Just watched my comrades in a fight they had the enemy outnumbered 2 to 1, every enemy on the map rushes to the combat to help, I watch no kidding 4 teammates ride by the encounter and never do a thing. Explain that to me. Devs took the starting tutorial Sarleon quest and replaced it to make you fight one of the strongest enemy encampments in the game, but the reward is just as bad as it was in the tutorial quests. Nice armors and weapons, but why would you care when you don't get to use them because you spend most of the game watching your team after getting one-tapped. They randomly throw in a bunch of stupid 700+ encounters and broken unbalanced enemies in to make the beginning game slog even worse than it already is. Anybody whose played warband for a moment knows that generally with encounters like that, your going to be the only one fighting them. At one point I was vassal in a kingdom that literally couldn't do anything because we fought every ingame random spawn encounter back to back to back, except one that Spawns near Cez. The amount of actual new content in the game beyond weapons and armor is like nil. If you want to fight a broken uphill battle, with knighthood orders and extra buildings as the only incentive, this is the mod for you. The list of crappy things about this mod builds while my enjoyment sits on crutches. I imagine the only people more unsatisfied by this mod, are the people who made it. I think the devs forgot that generally, a mod should be fun. It essentially destroys the fun of your beginning to mid-late game, and then hope it makes up for it in the final hour. I'll save the suspense...it doesn't. The most fun part of this mod I had, was when I switched from it.

Pretty decent mod, but unfortunately held back by delusional devs. Just play perisno.

A mod that was originally good, but as of now has many, many bugs beneath the surface. Along with overly punishing mechanics designed to force you to play a singleplayer game a certain way.

Half the siege scenes are broken with absolutely atrocious pathfinding. I reported this on the forum and got ridiculed, and called incompetent because I didn't take my hundreds of soldiers and manually place them along certain sections of the wall to work properly. It still didn't sit right, so I edited the scene in question (High Pass Fortress) and found that the spawn points were blobbed against the walls and in inane spots. I corrected the issue and there were no problems with that map anymore. So thanks for the insult IconracI.

Another problem we face is the devs refuse to take ANY criticism, and will lock any thread that disagrees with them. MitchyMatt has built a reputation for this. It seems their 9.5 rating and popularity has led to them thinking so highly of themselves that lowly peasants like me cannot even fathom their abilities, regardless of the fact that they are NOT the original dev team.

The gameplay itself became an exercise in futility when I faced armies numbering above ten thousand, which led to sieges taking hours (or getting crushed in autoresolve), which they also refused to state was a problem, like this army I.imgur.com having over 7,000 troops that cannot be bled off, and are absolutely impossible to fight. In response, my thread was locked for being "off-topic". When I posted the same issue in the Bug Reports section, I was told to just "make peace." That was a year ago for an older patch. I still have this same issue today.

There are also the following bugs that I need not go into detail with:
- Tavern/Arena sounds repeating, forcing a restart every hour and a half
- Mercenary companies not joining offensive or defensive sieges
- Minor factions appearing "Obliterated" with 3 or more armies on the map
- Old ruins base has no sound at night
- Achievements will be disabled if you accidentally press cheat buttons, whether in cheat mode or not

Every single one of these bugs the devs have either blamed on native warband or ignored, yet they are all specific to this mod alone.

These are just bugs alone, to get into the actual design flaws would take far more time. Some highlights among these is CKO troops taking far too long to equip, the game is over by the time they are up to snuff with other Knighthood Orders. Another in the recent designs category includes punishing you with -5 honor loss for refusing ransoms, losing honor, renown, morale, and gaining controversy for tactically retreating in a siege, even if every single one of your troops is dead.

Quite frankly, there exists better mods out there nowadays. For it's time it was great, and it's still good, if you do not consider the bugs. But there are now better mods out there that have devs willing to listen to the people who play the mods, won't insult or degrade you for reporting bugs, and don't actively desire to punish the people for playing it.

I give the mod a 1. Not because it only deserves a 1, but because it does not deserve a 9.5/10

Too much calvary, bit small map and worst of all I just got 500 kills in a single castle defence because somehow ruby rune bow that I farmed for quite some time is one shotting everything that isn't twilight noldor. Removing bow to make game harder after farming gems for is waste of time and too artificial.

I really don't understand the hype.

Native graphics. Not balanced. Most overrated mod.

People give too much rating to this mod.The only good thing about it is the map, runs smooth.Everything else lags and doesnt feel smooth.
