I've had the same problem, even all my 10 quicksaves didn't work, but this is how I worked around it:

It seems that if you enter the game, and from another map transition to Outskirts, and then load from there, your save on Outskirts should will work.

So basically, the problem with loading to me was only if in that instance of running the game process, I didn't enter Outskirts from another map before. Hope it helps

Hello, I'd like to ask something in case someone knows:

I'm playing on Master difficulty, and human enemies hit so hard that Impact and Bulletproof Cap stats don't seem to make much difference at all. It IS working for sure, I notice that with artifacts, but their effect is almost non existent.

So, how are difficulty modes handled in Lost Alpha? is Master supposed to be like this? other modes reduce accuracy of enemies and/or damage?

Hi, thanks so much for this mod, the work you've put on this is unimaginable, I'm having a great time so far :)

Unfortunately though I have an issue: when I enter Darkscape escaping from the military as part of the quest to steal the monolith documents, the car runs all fine, but as soon as I pass the bus stop with the RPG soldier, my fps get reduced to 10, no matter what settings.

Normally, I was playing in High settings preset and getting very high fps in all maps, 45 to 90 I'd say, but this looks like something else, some hard limit on memory or maybe its the garbage collector or idk.

Anyone can help? I saw another comment before of this happening to another person too.

PC: i5 2500k; 8gbDDR3; gtx 970; windows 7 64bit. Fresh install of Lost Alpha.

It looks great !!!. About the speed, I agree it's too fast, but whats fast is how much terrain he covers, the animation is fine, although slow for that kind of speed.

I suggest either slower gliding over the terrain, or a more exaggerated version of that animation, they just need to match better.

yeah there definitely is a system, and bandits arent an organized faction, but you know what i mean, a bandit is a bandit, his role in the zone is to attack others and steal stuff, and when i see they only do that to everyone but me, it really feels wrong and breaks immersion. More importantly, its a regular danger of the zone that you dont have to worry about at all.

Imagine if you could talk to some random peaceful bandits, but the second you turn around while close, they start shooting you, or they silently follow you when you leave, it'd be amazing. It'd make them a real threat and more backstabbing.

yeah, i dont mind that much that they have to act like bandits or what happens with sultan, its just that like i said, you almost never have the need to defend yourself from other stalkers/bandits/soldiers.

zombies dont count, this is why for me SHOC was so great, it had balance between mutants fighting and firefights.

Plus it should be pretty easy to do right? you can just name the player as an enemy for bandits and thats it i suppose.

One of the most important things i want for CoP is bandits that attack you on sight, or at least some random number of bandits that attack on sight.

CoP lacks firefights, its like 90% mutant fighting when exploring the zone, except for scripted missions and events.

Also stalkers that aim at you witha warning or just shoot if you even aim your gun at them, so you cant just kill everyone by surprise.

i dont know if its in this mod or even in this stalker game, but in stalker soc at least, there is bug that if you cross to a different area while having radiation, when you appear in the other area or load the save, even if you yake medicine your health continues to drain, only fix i've found is to load a previous save and cure radiation before crossing

Hey im having this issue with dx11 maybe someone knows how to fix it, i have an hd5850, and first of all i have an incredible amount of stuttering in all parts of the game, yet my pc runs it at 55 fps or more all the time but the hicups make it look like it was 14 fps or less, but thats a famous issue with COP, the problem im asking here aboout is when i run dx11 i have no light from campfires, dynamyc lighting functions well but campfires dont produce light at all, i see the fire effect but everything around it is dark, it happens only in dx11 and id really aprecciate help cause this is the dx mode that runs the game better for my, in dx10 the sttutering makes it unplayable.

hello pavel, i think i have some problem with the motion blur effet, it doesnt appear unless i use the original mode that was included in the game, i read the technical faq of the mod and i tried intensity 20, 30 35 and 70 and nothing happens, the original mode and r2_mblur 1.0 provide the effect but quite subtle, i ve seen videos on you tube of how it looks at 1.0 and its a lot more noticeable than in my comp. help me if you can please.

the mod its a true work of art, cant wait for call of pripyat
