Haha, thanks! :) I don't see it as being that great, I've only been modeling for a bit over 1.5 years, so I've got a long way ahead of me, but I'll take that as a compliment.
I'll do a high-poly render later today. :)
Thanks! :) It's around 6-7k tris, can't remember the exact number, but it's around that area.
Haha! Thanks, made my day. :P
I'm always glad to hear positive / negative feedback. :) (To improve)
Open up your console and type in bot_add
If you don't already know, there are a couple of ways you can get your console up as far as I know.
#1 Press the tilde key after you've enabled Developer console in your keyboard > advanced tab.
#2 Find DA: B in your steam library, right click > properties > set launch options and type in -console, you'll get your console window up every time you launch the game.
I'd recommend binding the console to something if the tilde key doesn't work. In console type bind "toggleconsole" "(key)"
e.g bind "toggleconsole" "F1"
I won't be able to return to this project in a very good while, 'cus I'm occupied with other projects. Just an FYI.
I can probably help you guys out with the modeling if you need any more help. Just have a look at my profile if you wanna see stuff I've done in the past.
Nice, looks good. But I believe I see quite a few smoothing errors in the model, or maybe it's intentional. Correct me if I'm wrong. If I am right, and what I'm seeing is true, I'd recommend using floating geometry on flat surfaces instead of modeling the geo into the model itself. May get a bit messy.
Would it be possible if I could contribute with a few weapon models?
Check my profile images if you're interested. Although, I'm using the student version of 3ds Max, so if you plan to make this a commercial product, you cannot use the models I'll make. But as long as it's free, there should be no problem what so ever, I'm pretty new to texturing, so I don't really know how to make textures look good (yet)
Check my profile to see a few images of what I've worked on.
Looks really cool. Maybe the nose is a bit too wide? I'd scale the width of the nose down a tad bit.
Awesome work!
