We've started our own Kickstarter for DA:B and we are looking for your help to get us through the summer to achieve a polished version with a possible engine license! For those who haven't played Double Action I highly recommend you try it out by downloading it here. On another rather large note we've been discovered by PC Gamer, which is totally cool. Below is our Kickstarter video:

So the question remains...Will there be enough kicks to start?

We were thinking about Greenlight but we aren't selling the game so I'm not sure, we may hold off on that.

Would it be possible if I could contribute with a few weapon models?

Check my profile images if you're interested. Although, I'm using the student version of 3ds Max, so if you plan to make this a commercial product, you cannot use the models I'll make. But as long as it's free, there should be no problem what so ever, I'm pretty new to texturing, so I don't really know how to make textures look good (yet)

Check my profile to see a few images of what I've worked on.
