Playing around with variables or functions seems to be a major part of battlefield 2 modding ;). I hope someone replies to your article! Even though I don't have experience with python I think my programming skills should be high enough to understand some parts of the source code.

Thanks for the anwser! Do you know, what the "alternateTemplate0-4" does? I've never seen this in any con/tweak file. Is there a way to take a look on bf2 source code?

Thanks for this list. It contains some really interesting variables!
Is it possible to use the selectunlock.aspx?pid= for making a better kit-selection system? As far as I understand this is used for selecting a certain Kit instead of selecting just the next one like selectNextUnlock does. If it does what I think it does, how do I use it? Would it be:
hudBuilder.setButtonNodeConCmd "spawnManager.selectunlock.aspx?pid" x ?

Hello,
since your weapons are near to perfect I just have to ask you how you do that?
I wanted to make a bf2 weapon out of a bf4 model. Getting the model isnt hard but I have no clue how to continue my work. I can write or copy and rework a .tweak file but thats all. How do you make a working weapon mod out of a model and textures? Maybe thats a bit too much to explain to me but I hope you could do it anyway :). It would be really nice if I could make my own weapons for bf2 but I just dont have the knowledge.

(Sorry for my english, Im not a native speaker)

Nice weapon! It's perfect as a secondary Weapon for sniper class. Since you have soundfiles for a silenced version, do you have a model with silencer?

if the error message says a file was not found, than you should take care that the file is there and in the right folder.

I have following Problem:

The game crashes as soon as I try to deploy with any soldier. It crashes without any error message. I think, that the AiTemplate of the kits is the problem. I use a modified version of AIX with the Battlefield 4 soldier models and kits. If I give the bf4 kits the same AiTemplate as in the standart kits the game crashes and says "You have tried to enter a vehicle thats not prepared to be used with AI (or something similar)". If I change the AiTemplate to the same as in the standart soldiers tweaks the game crashes without any error message. I really dont know what to do. Can Anybody help me please?

I use only working weapons and soldier models. The only not 100% working files are the kit-tweaks
