Get one of the fixes / patches / updates whatever you want to call them.
This is a 2005 mod by a student team, which has dissolved and is busy working in the games industry. So there won't be a successor by the same team. There is a similar project inspired by the success of Eclipse by a different student team at the same university. Developer.valvesoftware.com
It's already dependent on Valve: "A fully ported version of CM (V. 10.45) will be available when VALVE releases the updated SDK-Code."
For Your Information
The "Official Page" is down, but you can use one of these instead:

The latest version doesn't work any more, but you can easily fix it yourself:
0. Make sure you have the latest version. If you got v1.01 from ModDB, get and install the "Patch from 1.01 to 1.02" from the website above. This seems to be a slightly newer and smaller version of the "Eclipse 1.5 Hotfix".
1. Open gameinfo.txt with Notepad or Wordpad.
2. Change the SteamAppId to 215.
3. Restart Steam.
Fair enough that you put "estimated release date" on your website, but on ModDB it looks like it's already released when you give a released date in the mod profile. Looks cool though.
Can you change the release date from "Released Jul 1, 2008" to something different, e.g. "unreleased"?
The single player part does work with Steam, you just have to move the mod folder into the Half-Life folder, and restart Steam afterwards. (I've always patched it up to v1.6, not sure if v1.5 will work.)
Check your eMails - I got yours from April 21st and replied on the 25th.
I haven't checked their GameSurge channel, but if you can't get in, most likely the problem is that you don't have an AuthServ account. You can get one here:
The beta doesn't contain the source code, so I doubt it's possible to revive it.

The ModDB redirect works now. :)
Sow.moddb.com
Website seems to be down, I've tried all of these:
Sandsofwar.net
Sow.moddb.com
Alicia.neostrada.nl
Chelsea.wesowe-is.nl
Maybe you should rename, because there is already a mod out with this name:
Moddb.com
The beta is still available for download.
- Click on one of the "Free Public Servers", not the "high-speed" ones (unless you're a subscriber of course).
Negative, afaik *this* SG mod won't get shut down, because the developers made sure to not have any legal issues.
It's a bit hard to find if you do a search for Fortress in the moddb and it isn't spelled right...
Hi, is this project still going? I can't access the website...
leakfree.org is down, did Valve shut it down or just a billing problem?
