Masterpiece
It works and it looks OK.
Looks stunning, very atmospheric in the vein of Deus Ex Human Revolution. Nice secrets.
Played with version 9.9. No bugs at all (except for those AI/engine/animation glitches which is hard to fix), this is very impressive considering the state of vanilla game.
New content of the Plus patch added this feeling of larger world, which is great. The one new quest though (Library) had distinct "fan-made" feeling to it, could be expanded/improved both visually and gameplay-wise. Felt like a filler.
Played all missions through with this mod.
- Excellent gameplay changes. Fact is I haven't really got any complaints about gameplay during my play, that tells something.
- Voice commands are enabled and expanded. My personal gratitude for this, it was really fun to play commanding my squad with voice like I'm playing multiplayer (thanks to excellent Windows speech recognition, game recognized 95% of my commands perfectly, even though I'm not a native English speaker). When game fails to recognize specific words you are saying, you can just say the same command using different alias (like "check under the door" instead of "use mirror...").
The only complaint I have (and thus the 9/10 rating) is that the new missions included are of mediocre quality. New voices are bad (teenager terrorists, lol), environments don't look very convincing and completely lack the dense atmosphere of the original missions. But it's not really a downside, because you can still play original missions and have tons of fun.
Thanks to developers for their hard work and dedication that allowed to re-play this classic again.
Strange changes with no justification for them. Bugged HUD in widescreen.
Smart game design, on the level AAA games.
Good level design with nice lighting, many interactive objects and interesting secrets.
A lot of good nostalgia (not just for Wolf3D).
This feels and plays like a "true Wolfenstein sequel that never got released".
Very useful and easy to use tool.
Didn't encounter any problems with it. Along with driver-level tuning for my NVidia GPU, tweaked GUI size and everything to my liking, the game feels just *perfect*.
T3 Gold (no loading screens in missions) is nice too, helps immersion very much. And it's done like it was made like this originally, I can't even remember where those loading sections were :)
