Thanks to the team for all the hard work, it all looks really great.
The background art in the menus is a great little addition and nice to see more being added.
Really enjoying these. Thanks for putting the time and work into them. Happily surprised at the quality of bot pathing too!
Hey there, if you're interested in making a voice pack, Catatafish has typed up a little tutorial in the Tutorials section of the Voice Vault.
Accidentally deleted Blade_Sword's comment when trying to edit my comment including Tux's dead link. Sorry Blade!
This was Blade's message:
If the sounds are extracted wav from UT99 it should work without any problem. Otherwise, for people who doesn't know how to, they should use some free audio software in order to convert their files into wav and have them in mono.
I'm saying this now because the privatetux link is dead.
Awesome, awesome, awesome!
Apologies for the 2 month gap in uploads everyone. :)
Thats okay, it's not a big issue. Its just great to see a lot of effort being put into this.
GreatEmerald's UT3 weapons work well, as does the Unreal Championship Weapons Mutator. Only issues I've come across is compatability with Ballistic Weapons sadly.
That minigun... <3
Hope all this hard work is also compatible with UT2004RPG. :)
That portrait change looks great - really nice work overall too.
If UT99 has UnrealEd in its folder you might be able to extract the sound files from the uax file. This video may give you some idea of how to extract them if UnrealEd is included with UT99. I don't have much experience with UT99 so I hope this was helpful. Youtube.com
I'm pretty sure UT99 voicepacks wouldn't work in UT2004 as they are.
My guess is you would need the original sound files that were put into those voice packs and then run them through the ut2004 voice packager. That seems the most straight forward solution, I don't know if there would be another way around it.
Hey thanks, if you have access to any shrek dialogue I could probably make something up.
Thanks, hopefully people think it works as a Gen Mo'Kai language.
Always appreciate your feedback my friend, you made some good points. Happy Holidays!
Thanks for the support parkisg - appreciate it!
I would support the idea of keeping the portraits. Thanks :)
Is there an option to have the bot's portrait box in place of the flags like previous versions or is that a feature that is discontinued?
Today marks the UT2004 Voice Vault's first birthday.
Cheers everyone!
You don't need anything special for any of these voice packs to work. I just re-downloaded and installed it again and had no issues. I guess you should try and repeat the steps of putting the .u and .int files into the UT2004 System folder. Its called "SC2: Terran - Wraith" in the player menu. Let me know what happens.

Hi there, I'm currently creating quality voice packs for UT2004 in my spare time on the Voice Vault. I recommend heading over there at some point, especially with the (hopefully only temporarily halted) progress going on with Ballistic Weapons. --- Any constructive feedback is welcome here!
