A community hub for quality UT2004 voicepacks that are making their first appearance on the interwebs. Interested in porting someone's personality into the game, but don't know how? Well then stop by the tutorials section for some handy advice.
After finishing a bunch of work and spending a couple weeks dead for tax reasons, I guess I'll be finishing that fun George Takei voice I mentioned ages ago. I haven't been making anything new for UT2004 while I've been absorbed in other games (like Minecraft, Call of Duty, Warriors Orochi 3, Gothic 3, Deus E- HOLY CRAP HOW DO I EVER GET THINGS DONE), so YAY for all the content that Nips34 has made and thanks for the ideas and content links that people have shared.
So there will be at least two or three more voicepacks of note popping up for everyone's enjoyment in the next couple weeks; hopefully all these new personalities, and new guns from the next Sgt. Kelly's pack, will ease the pain of Christmas anticipation ;-)
Three new characters arriving quite soon, along with a possibility of Adam Jensen in the future.
Complete versions of all the characters in the header complete, along with a couple others. More personalities to come.
With the right programs, you can bring the voices of your favorite characters into the world of UT2004, and have a lot of fun while doing it.
This is a UT2004 Voice Pack of the Master Chief as portrayed in Halo Reach's firefight mode.

Why not use the group sounds? so more realistically, when soldiers say different messages, no?
I hope someone will make a GTA V Protagonist voice pack.
Apologies for the 2 month gap in uploads everyone. :)
I have lots of voice packs that i downloaded back then however those files
are unreal tournament (the original one) voice packs does it works in ut2004? or i have to convert it?
I'm pretty sure UT99 voicepacks wouldn't work in UT2004 as they are.
My guess is you would need the original sound files that were put into those voice packs and then run them through the ut2004 voice packager. That seems the most straight forward solution, I don't know if there would be another way around it.
Do the uax files can be extracted with a help of a tool and then repack the whole thing for ut2004?
If UT99 has UnrealEd in its folder you might be able to extract the sound files from the uax file. This video may give you some idea of how to extract them if UnrealEd is included with UT99. I don't have much experience with UT99 so I hope this was helpful. Youtube.com
I extracted those wav files and now what? I gonna use it for ut2004 so i can make my swat dude sound like a marine.
Accidentally deleted Blade_Sword's comment when trying to edit my comment including Tux's dead link. Sorry Blade!
This was Blade's message:
If the sounds are extracted wav from UT99 it should work without any problem. Otherwise, for people who doesn't know how to, they should use some free audio software in order to convert their files into wav and have them in mono.
I'm saying this now because the privatetux link is dead.
Well, nvm, I think it's useful to know because I experienced some difficulties when making sound packs and people should know how easy it is.
The hardest part is finding the material, recording it and making the files needed for the VP compiler.
