I have not played 8.3 yet. I have found that Create-a-hero, east and south, cannot steal resources even when they specialize in the power.

I have not explored all the new additions sufficiently yet. I love what has been done with the Haradrim faction and their neighbors further south.
I am curious whether the adventure factions can be activated somehow in player-created maps (especially Rhun) and I am still wondering why the colors don't work for Created Heros. I may have a setting turned off.
Please let me know.

I have not been able to get my world-builder to see Age of the Ring content or even load its maps.

I have seen the Blue Wizard artwork but I cannot find Morinehtar and Rómestámo anywhere.
Are they imbedded in certain maps?

When you see the hero grayed out, click on the name and then press the first letter of the first name. That will bring up the first hero in your list with that name. If you want the second, press the letter again and it will move down to the next CaH whose name starts with that letter.

I understand the how-to-select-a-hero issue. Someone graciously explained that before. I am wondering about the colors being locked for heroes.

I have had a problem with the hero-builder such that the selected colors do not work. All create-a-heroes come out dark, like I had picked the darkest robes or armour available. There is no visible change when I re-edit the hero. Is this normal or is there an error in my settings?

I don't know if there is a fix for this. When a fortress, placed in the scenario-builder, is destroyed, it leaves behind the silhouette of itself and continues to fire on aircraft. The space it was in cannot be built on.
I am thinking somehow there is an invisible unit in play.

The EF cheats have a "join me or die" cheat which allow converting the un- convertible. When used, theunit or building is still auto-acquired by my turrets and fortresses and ubnits set on "attack" even though the unit is under my control.

Does anyone know if you can use the advanced genie editor to change a building into a resource-producing building? I cannot find a commonality, studying the Jedi ruins, Kessel Mining Building, and Tatooine Vaporators which makes the change clear.

I love the addition of the generic aliens. I wonder whether new icon pictures can be added without messing up 1.51.
I am wanting to include the older Asoka, Dryden Vos, Luthen, and some others. Maybe more are just on the way.

Just a suggestion Guest. Make a trigger-template that you want to reuse. There you can use some of the build buttons and assign hero-making to a monument or a command center. This can be done without any detail in the trigger template entirely. Whenever you want to play the faction, load first the trigger template, save the scenario, and then let the scenario builder fill in the terrain with the players and resources. This works very well for both recurrent heroes and other special units you want.

Do you know if there are map templates of the interior of star destroyers or death star hangers or Bespin, using the EF graphics? They can certainly be made with the resources in there, I am wondering if some has done the work already.

If the world-builder works the way it used to, it will be scriptable in there. I have not played with the newest world-builder yet.
Inside your "zAotRoptions" folder, there is a folder called "AdvMapData" which has a group of scripted files.

This must be a dopey question. I am seeing a picture on the site clearly depicting armies of Rhun, Rhun buildings, and a Rhun stronghold and battle towers, but I do not find Rhun on the faction list.
No Rhun, no men-of-the-east. Is there a toggle I need to be using like in the RJ-mod?
Everything I do find is fantastic though.

I don't see what you see. Is there a window smaller than you want? Are you seeing your desktop behind a window? Do you have a portion of the game playing that you cannot see?
I know for myself I always feel defrauded if I am not in full-screen mode. I assume you have used the "configurator" in the game-folder? Prior to the configurator's release, I used a cursor-mod to achieve a full-screen mode (I cannot find the instructions I used for that or I would refer them to you). Since you are on a newer version of Expanding Fronts, I am thinking the problem is actually a Custom Scale Factor error. That seems to come up on Windows10 machines with a very high resolution capacity. The Custom Scale Factor for Expanding Fronts should be set to 100%. I understand that the setting will reset itself on a restart but I got it to stick by running the game in compatibility mode for Vista. I did not expect that to work.
For myself, resetting the Custom Scale Factor is worth it before playing every time but I am glad I don't have to now.

What is the resolution problem? Are you having trouble fitting the screen, is the pallet incorrect, or are you agitated by non-HD graphics?

It is an old error of course. When a scenario begins with fortresses already on the map, and when those fortresses are destroyed, the empty ground still targets aircraft with ground-to-air missiles. Can this error be removed?

JJ, there is a problem in the mod, the designers know about it. Whenever hit the command-center-won't-build error, save, exit, and reload. It it does not work, let a second tick off the clock and redo it. It works the first time almost every time as long as the entire 4x4 lot for the command center in fully visible when you say to build.
I have had to re-load twice a few times.

Tevious and team, I am wanting to enable Trandoshan unit-building in their structures via the Scenario Editor. I have the short list of building ID numbers from Heavengames but I do not know of a way to find the building numbers for the trandoshan military and barracks structures.

This really is so good. It allows both for expansion and for creativity. I am hoping for a couple things myself, but the work is better than any of the other BFMEs I have seen.
