Creator-Could you please look at this config? Would u consider creating a How-to on setting up 1080p?

Please tell us how you avoided the custom resolution with your "own config"?

Does this MOD include the content from Gentlemen of Fortune?
If not, can they or should they be installed together? Thank you.

Pavlor - look through the comments to find 2 I posted. One on fixing crashes and another on setting custom resolution. I hope it helps you.

This happened to me too. It should only ask for the CD one time if the game crashes. Close the window where it asks for the CD and restart the game. Then figure out why you crashed. You could possibly try the fix I posted below. Good luck.

Even with this fix, I still crashed at the end of Earthbound just like Scadden said. Unfortunately, this makes you miss a short but nice cutscene at the end of the Alien campaign. The only youtube link has all the cutscenes joined together. Would it be possible for someone to separate these scenes out and post individual links for each?

Here is the link with them all:

I had to set Steam.exe also to Run As Administrator in order for the crash fix to work. Before making that change it would not load AvP_Classic.exe with the Run As Administrator or Win98/ME Compatibility Mode options.

I hope this helps someone!

Blurred Remembrance Constantly Crashes - Possible fix

Without this fix the game was unplayable for me due to the constant crashing. I read about this elsewhere in these comments from Paulissimo on Apr 29 2015 so thanks to him. It is very easy and here is a summary.

Edit these 3 files with Notepad:

C:\Games\Medal of Honor Blurred Remembrance - UNWRITTEN \_mohbr_unwritten \main\_br_settings.cfg

C:\Games\Medal of Honor Blurred Remembrance - UNWRITTEN \_mohbr_unwritten \mainta\_br_spearhead_settings.cfg

C:\Games\Medal of Honor Blurred Remembrance - UNWRITTEN \_mohbr_unwritten \maintt\_br_breakthrough_settings.cfg

At the very bottom of all 3 .cfg files, after all other commands, add this line:

set r_sse "0"

Save the file with your changes.

After this fix I played through MOH:AA and Spearhead with only a few crashes each. Breakthrough had a few more crashes than the other two. Specifically during the Gela mission there is a part where you need to cross through a Winery's grape vineyard. I think the game crashed about 10 times just crossing that field. No other location crashed more than once.

I hope this helps!

AMD/ATI Radeon - Setting Custom Resolution for Blurred Remembrance

In order to run this MOD you need to set a custom resolution of 1440 x 1080. This means if you have a 16:9 or 16:10 widescreen monitor you will have black bars on the sides of your monitor while playing. It's a bummer but don't fight it. This is still a great game.

In the following example we are using an AMD video card and a monitor with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080.

Step 1. Open AMD Catalyst Control Center

Step 2. On the left side expand the menu "My Digital Flat-Panels"

Step 3. Click on "HDTV Support (Digital Flat-Panel)"

Step 4. In the "Predefined and Custom HDTV Formats" section click on "1080p60 standard (1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz)".

Step 5. Click the "Add" Button. A screen will appear with arrow buttons at the top and your monitors "Width" and "Height" at the bottom.

Step 6. Click the arrow button on the right with the two arrows facing inward. You will see the Width values decrease and you should start to see blue borders on the left and right of the screen. Press the same arrow button repeatedly until 1440 is displayed in the "Width" box.

Step 7. Click the "Accept" button.

Step 8. Back in the "Predefined and Custom HDTV Formats" section click on "1080p60 custom (1440 x 1080 @ 60Hz)".

Step 9. Click the "Apply Format" button.

Step 10. If your monitor now has black bars on the left and right and everything else looks normal push the "Yes" button to accept the changes.

Step 11. Enjoy the game in glorious 1440 x 1080!

I hope this helps someone!

Hello I have an AMD Radeon Card with native 1920x1080 monitor.

I do not understand how to translate your NVidia custom resolution instructions for my AMD card. Is there anyone that has this setup correctly with ATI Control Panel?

Default resolution in cfg files loads either in really small window, or a not so full screen (Alt-Enter).
