Just wondering, you mention revealing units & structures amongst other things later on. Are you planning on using a lot of the same assets as the C&C PP or are there changes planned?

Either way can't wait and I love the new storyline.

Alright after a long wait we've finally got a look-in and a serious consideration as to who the Foehn really are. The theory that backed up that they were the "Future Allies/Chinese" is starting to really take a grip. In the description for the Phantasm, the Foehn Stolen-Tech MLRS, there is reference to the loss of Mirage technology, suggesting that whoever were the precursors to Foehn had access to mirage technoloy, at the Battle of Antarctica. It then refers to the Clairvoyants (which I assume are the Foehn Drones) "finding" an Allied Tech Centre and being able to "Recover" the technology. This alone suggests that the Precursors to the Foehn were the Allies due to the fact that they once had access to this technology.

The Future Tank X-2 is another glimpse at possible elements of the Foehn's backstory referencing that following KI's decision to terminate the project, KI facilities were reactivated by another force, who, in this case "completed the X-2 prototype using their advanced technology.".

The references to the Battle of Antarctica as well give clues. The descriptions in the Phantasm's lore describe the "chaos" following the Battle of Antarctica suggesting that maybe the Allies/Soviets lost and Epsilon became the single most powerful force on the planet.

This leads me to assume that Foehn wage war against Epsilon in the future following Yuri's supposed final victory. Last Bastion would make sense if they are dug in and fighting off the attacks of Epsilon, whilst Wings of Coronia fight from the Air and Haihead are hidden from view.

Are you still planning on making an Oceanic faction or has that been shelved, because its not listed in the Faction List.

There are also tree types of infantry I can identify in the Megalodon video, the first is the exo with the gun, the second is the weird walking one and the third throws a sort of energy ball. The third is also visible just to the right of the Foehn Refinery in this picture.

Plus there's also the Clairvoyant and the weird spider/animal like thing in the reveal trailer.

Yep you're definitely right.
Most likely a light harvester that hovers and can cross water but lacks the armour of the other three, plus continues with the drone them of some of the Foehn's units.

not neccessarilly, I'm sure Speeder will have a way of balancing it. Looking at the second refinery (in the top right) it appears there may be a harvester in it, which looks like it could hover or fly.

Well it seems as though the Nanofiber Loom is there too

As Damfoos said, we've read the forums, and also we've had a few discussions on rumours and ideas surrounding it.

On a side note, I wonder what gimmick the Foehn harvester, which I think is in the top right refinery has? If the Allies have teleporting, the Soviets can use a gun and Epsilon's one is stealthed.

Plus I'm pretty excited, the Foehn really are looking High Tech.

Looks great man, loving the cyborg models and can't wait to see the Technician, Tier 3 and Subfaction units.
Just one thing I was wondering, with the Vulcan Cyborg, is it my eyes or does the Voxel look a little out of place. Either way, maybe its me just being negative for no reason.
Can't wait to see the rest of Cabal, Forgotten and the Scrin.

So far it has been determined that:
Last Bastion focuses on defending (i.e the Sweeper) and powerful long range weapons (Mastodon).
Wings of Coronia- whilst we could be wrong as we haven't seen any "official" units, seems to be very speed and airforce associated
Haihead, it seems, is more of an offense orientated faction or an amphibious/water based faction, but again this could be wrong. The Irritator, the first unit revealed for the Subfaction, appears to have a confusion ray (which seems to be the new Chaos Gas) suggesting perhaps a specialised offensive based sub.

I thought the Foehn were here in order to survive against Yuri, but are they here to hunt him instead?

So as I was asking, will the Foehn.. I mean Side 4 have any background revealed, or will it all be up to the Campaign to explain their creation?

It seems as though Haihead is gonna be an offensive specialised faction, with the support of the aforementioned 'Confusion Ray' on the Irritator.

Interestingly, in this article, Speeder makes mention of Side 4's (Foehn's) heavy ground units in the Iron Dragon description. Which makes me wonder, whether the Foehn revolt is simply a cannon faction, or more of a cannon-powerhouse faction with tough units that deal out a lot of damage.

On another note, when you finally announce the Foehn Speeder, are you going to give us some background, or would that be considered spoilers :P

Must admit Seoras, you're finally getting the credit you deserve. DOW mods, ROTR, Mental Omega and there are probably others. But your voice-acting talent is, by far, some of the best in modding, and could be, one of the best in gaming. So that aside, can't wait to see both the Foehn and what you've done for their EVA.
