The reason itis probably laggy, is because there are not that many servers 76 last count. Theres probably not one near you just yet, every day seems to bring another 10%-30% rise in the number of servers and players so i wouldn't worry it will change. The mod is currently undergoing large scale development on both the maps and the code so watch this space. Check out #hl2ctf on gamesurge.net for the latest info.
