I hate to bring up a negative with this mod because it's great in so many ways, but the ship pathing still really sucks, why is it that every other mod out there manages to figure out where ships should be but this one just makes your ships fly everywhere except where you intend for them to go once they've been sent to attack a target, they just fly towards it for their first attack and then constantly fan out away from the enemy letting you get picked off one by one, it makes the federation near useless in large battles where you need your ships to be inside an aoe for defensive reasons, I made a comment about this over a year ago and was told the mod is pretty much finished but this is literally just game breaking when you have ships that offer aoe buffs and none of your ships are within that because they decided to fly off wherever they feel like away from the target. This has persisted through multiple patches throughout the years, I always come back and get immediately turned off from playing as soon as I realize this hasn't been addressed at all and I can't figure out how or why it hasn't.

If logs or anything are needed to address this I'll happily send them in, I really just want to play and enjoy this but the pathing is straight up broken

This mod is very broken, played a 6 hour match and only after I made some significant losses had I realized my fleet supply had dwindled heavily, as in I couldn't produce the same amount of ships that I had lost, it got so bad to the point where I only was able to produce 500 supply worth of ships despite having a fully upgraded fleet supply which for federation was 1380 something supply. it essentially hard-locked my progress on the match as I could no longer keep up in terms of fleet capacity. another very frustrating issue with federation; not sure about with other factions, but the ships fly away from targets after their initial assault meaning a chunk of your ships fly out of weapons range leaving them vulnerable to being picked off 1 at a time, both of these bugs are repeatable every-time making it completely game breaking. Both of these issues have persisted through multiple versions of this mod and seeing as such I most likely will be avoiding this until it's figured out in some way.

I can send a copy of the save file and whatever else the mod creator needs to resolve as it's very frustrating

Great mod! Only thing I've noticed is resource generation is very tedious since you have to que extensive amounts of mining barges or ships per system, maybe a better system would be to have a max resource limit per system linked directly to a hard limit on mining ships with a way to build them like in the base game by clicking the planet and building them that way so you don't have to micro manage hundreds on mining asteroids at once while managing multiple fleets
