Does this let you aim pistols as well?

so that means what? Yes it's run and gun but try it and maybe I'll like it? There are plenty of other arcade shooters out there and if this isn't what I was hoping for then I'd prefer to not spend 2 hours downloading it and HL2 to play it, just to delete it after three seconds.

So is there anyone out there who can give me a real answer?

In the 'trailer' video I don't see the player ever aiming. I thought the point of firearms was to make it a bit more realistic, you have to aim to hit anything at distance, you can't soak up 30 rounds from an AK then run in and knife the guy etc etc. The video just shows a guy running around hip firing, spray and praying and raping everyone. At one point it even zooms in to show how far away the guys are, yet still he's nailing them, in full auto, not aiming.... This seems like just another arcade shooter, except everyone has less health.

Ah. Makes sense now. I can't imagine how busy you are with all of this stuff and whatever your day job is but any news on how Call of Pripyat Complete is coming along?

A few days ago? It says the latest download is from October of last year. I'm just starting to feel like a retard now >.>

Maybe I'm stupid but now the title is now Stalker Complete 2012 but the latest news release and the download is still all Complete 2009 and nothing else mentions the change of title to 2012.

Is there a new update coming that I should wait for, or is the name change just because the new year but the actual mod is still the same or what?

It says April 2nd for me so I almost believed it till I got to real time sleeping.

Though I think a manually cleaning your gun thing would be kinda cool. Have a cleaning kit in your inv, like the sleeping bag, that you can use to clean weapons. It's rare that a weapon kept clean will actually break in such a manner that you need a gunsmith to repair it, as they are buily with good materials, considering the stress a lot of the parts go thru.

Animation quality is nice, just a couple technique problems. Only other comment is that it all feels a bit too relaxed to feel like it's in the middle of a combat zone. What I mean by that is if you are reloading to return fire, you don't take your time doing it, you hurry your *** up and slam the new mag in, drop the slide stop and start shooting.

Thats not realistic. If you are reloading you don't throw you mag with 30 rounds away, you put it back in the mag pouch. Throwing away perfectly good ammo is a very stupid thing to do. Even more so then wasting it by spray and pray.
