I can't install...the installer keeps failing when trying to create a folder in Czech. I think the problem is that my laptop doesn't support the language...is there a way to go around it or make my laptop support the language? Really want to play this

It looks beautiful and the A-life idea is great. Just a quick question though: are these "night squads" going to cause any trouble with the original quest? For ex. the squads could run into a quest squad and causing important characters dead. I played SGM and Misery, and sometimes NPCs would just start fighting with another group of people or mutants, even if you are not around that area.

Anyway real life is what you should focusing on. We stalkers are very patient and are willing to wait for probably the greatest mod in COP.

I love the idea of mutants have their own territories now, that means "mutant hunting" is actually a thing to do now. I have a question to ask though: Do mutants have body parts like humans in the game? One thing I hated in the original COP is that mutants can take many shots in the head and be still running. My idea is that they should bleed, get wounded, run away, and killed by one single headshot. I know you are going to change mutants' health so they are no longer bullet sponge, but is it possible to get headshot with mutants? Cos if it is possible, shotgun would finally be useful against mutants as intended by COP. Love your good work, played a tons of Redux, and hope to see Wormwood come out soon.

I agree with your idea completely, immersion vs. gameplay is always a difficult balance. Immersion is good, but you also have to keep the game NOT complicated at the same time (a bad example would be Misery). So here is an idea to share:
Instead of having both bullets and mags, plus the need to fill/refill the mags (this would become tiring really quick), how about get rid of bullets and just having mags? You have a mag in your gun, you shoot half of the mag, you reload, change to another mag, and the previous mag is gone. This would keep the mag system while keeping the game simple. Instead of having 300 rounds in your inventory and having to fill 10 empty mags, now you would just have 10 mags. Also the weapon panel would only show how many mags you have left, not the number of bullets, realistic and understandable at the same time.
Color tape is good, different color mags = different ammo types. Notice though not every gun use mags: pump-action, bolt-action, and lever-action(if there is any) guns use individual shells and bullets. For these types you might want a ammo "box" instead of mags.
Anyway keep up the good work, looking forward to see the project's progress and play it one day. You guys listen closely to the community which means you would do a great job satisfying the players. Good luck!

Is it possible to have public tests then? So players can help you find bugs and give suggestions to balancing the game (The true reason is I want to play it!) :)

Just one question: when will the mod be finished? Can you give us an estimated time?

Are you going to increase the range of knife attacks? or even better, add the gun butt strike to the player as well? So glad to see you guys trying to bring back whats been cut from COP.
Also one more thing that came into my head: are medics in safe zone still gonna be free? also will you add a custom medic to replace Tremor in Skadovsk?

Thats great! Also are you going to allow us to pick difficulty? I played Misery, Complete, Redux, and Reloaded before. I learned one thing from personal experience and reading a lot of people's comments. The thing is that even with a hardcore survival-realism mod, enjoying the game is the most important thing for players. Not trying to offend anyone, but not all players are capable to beat such a hard mod. Offering a reachable, enjoyable gameplay to players is essential(you can learn a lot from Misery's fall). Anyways, just want to show you guys an idea. Maybe set up three difficulty levels? Normal for people who enjoy the original normal difficulty, but also want to enjoy Wormwood. Hard for people who want hardcore gameplay. Easy for people who just want to relax and kill things.
Thank you for reply! Keep up the good work, and always listen to the community(us)

I read the features and it looks really good. I especially love the new magazine system, it will make guns and loots more realistic. Also will magazines drop on the ground when you reload? So that you can pick them up and fill them again.
