What hardware is this running on? I run AMD graphics and refuse to swap to Nvidia for nvidia exclusive accelerated physics. I'm not against the use of these sorts of technologies as long as they run at an acceptable(60fps within reason) framerate on the CPU or can be simulated on both major GPU brand hardware(AMD and Nvidia).
To be clear, I'm not against the use of Nvidia physics simulation, as long as it doesn't negatively impact people who use AMD hardware or give Nvidia people a significantly better experience.
Wouldn't it be better to include the same sdk base as used by tf2? That way EVERYONE can play.
I'd say similar to any source engine game, maybe similar to portal 2 or left 4 dead 2.
But really, if you can run half life 2, then you'll be fine for this. if you're worrying about not being able to run a source engine game, go spend $200 on an upgrade.
It's more of a donation than a purchase. But yes, I totally understand, $30 is $30 and lots of people don't have that... they either resort to piracy or go without.
you can also use gregion if you don't have the cash for fraps. It's free, has a few niggles(not huge, you'll figure it out) but has the same quality of fraps.
at 20mbps you should go to 1080p. I've encoded 1080p footage at as little as 2.5mbps and have it still looking good.
aaaaaaaah that youtube video... that sold it, I'm getting this game asap. Wish I had the skills to help out developing it with you.
For what it is, it's too expensive. Considering essentially the exact same thing is available for free (and I don't even play that).
cool stuff. I like your music, it has actual narrative and flow to it, rather than just a mish mash of notes.
I think it's a bit of a bummer that the $15 pledger only gets access to the beta. Would have preferred something similar to wasteland 2 where you can get a standard copy of the full game. I can't afford to give any more than $15, but hey, it's not that big of a deal. Go get em tiger!
I just think supporting the devs is all the motivation required. Don't need any other reward than knowing that they can make the game as awesome as possible because of our financial support.
Cool, bsd license. I like the sound of that.
$20 is a reasonable price tag... I sadly still can't afford that much. Drop it to $10 and I'll get it.
I MUST BUY THIS GAME! please don't make it too expensive.
I have to say this, I didn't like the music. I would have preferred the older piano based music of zombie panic (hl1).
they have legal issues in America.
great, now all I need is half life.
it might be something to get me to work on level design. Creating my own custom environments!
have you considered moving to the cryengine 3... it's much more optimised than cryengine 1 and the fact you don't need crysis installed is also great. Considering it's very similar to cryengine 2... porting the next chapter(I would never ask you to REMAKE everything) would be cool. I'm gonna try this though... where did I put my crysis dvd.
He looks terrible... nar I'm joking... seems very low poly, but will still look great in game, and run great too. Looking forward to the game.
awesome... I always love these updates.
didn't realise apple stuff was still hip...
lol, it's just a stupid fun little mod that will take 10 minutes of your time... There's really nothing in here... it was worth the money I spent though.
No offense to you personally. But I avoid games with this sort of combat... sadly I won't be bothering with it.
goram it man, if it's too expensive, go without. We cannot give governments and companies excuses for DRM and acts such as SOP, or PIP.
well, I'm against SOPA and PIPA... it's the start of something much worse. I can realistically imagine a world like Mirrors Edge, or something much more bloody, for a lot longer.
:D I feel special. Seriously though, I wish I could get onto a team... oh well, guess I'll go back to giving myself headaches studying this programming.
