2 Dawn Games Announces RAVAGED, Vehicular Multiplayer FPS for PC
January 19, 2012 -- Ravaged is a multiplayer only first-person shooter game with vehicles, team objectives and skill-based gameplay. Set upon a post-apocalyptic earth devastated by natural disasters caused by the sun's solar flares, Ravaged chronicles the struggle between the “Resistance” and the “Scavengers” as they fight one another to gain an upper hand in an ongoing war for survival, territory and resources.
Scavengers are an oppressive group of lawless criminals that wish to claim all land and resources for themselves. They will stop at nothing to accomplish their goal. The Resistance is a group of fighters hell-bent on restoring civilization. These civilians were able to seek shelter as the world succumbed to natural disasters during the year 2012, taking with them precious goods and weapons while the criminals and less fortunate lived off the land.

The developers behind Ravaged wanted to create a fun, over-the-top team-based game and are working with the gaming community to do so. “We at 2 Dawn Games are focused on bringing the fun back into gaming. With skill-based gameplay, community-driven content and frequent updates, we are driven to play hard.”
Ravaged is currently in development with a beta planned for early 2012 and releasing on PC in spring 2012 via Steam and other PC distribution methods.

Will Ravaged have bots and/or singleplayer in the far future?
Oh man, this will be good, and it's coming so soon, i was thinking late 2012, but early, well, that just makes life better! But I will only buy if it's less than $15, which is highly unlikely, so, it very sadly could be a trip to the pirate bay...
So sometime between you stealing their game and them making your life better, you'll be sending 2Dawn that $15 you would've spent right? Yeah, didn't think so.
goram it man, if it's too expensive, go without. We cannot give governments and companies excuses for DRM and acts such as SOP, or PIP.

SUBJECT: SinglePlayer version /mod for Ravaged
2dawn, I would assume you are one of the developers.
Excuse me for the questions, saw the trailer for Ravaged and said WOW!, looks good so I added it to my cart to PURCHASE... then I found out it was multiplayer only /game was not *community "mod" friendly. BAM, DELETED RAVAGED from the cart.
(I'm a fan of offline FPS shooters)
* Community "Mods" as in total conversions or mods as you see in offline singleplayer games which greatly extend the life and interest of the franchise IMO.
Q: Will the ability to play in SINGLEPLAYER MODE be added in the near future? EG: Bots added, etc.
Adding such would increase the products appeal.
(You pick up sales from offline FPS shooter fans, and it allows those that are interested in online gaming to "practice" with bots.)
Q: @ 15 months since your last post what is the scuttlebutt on this issue? Under consideration?, actively being worked on?, or dead?
Q: Is it possible in it's current multiplayer mode only version to play, or should I say "WANDER" thru the maps? (EG: Explore /become familiar with the maps without being online).
Q: Any chance on those that have purchased the current multiplayer only version via STEAM to get the singleplayer update for free?
EG: it rolls out as a patch instead of DLC.
I tend to have to avoid mulitplayer only games just because my internet tends to suck will the game have bots? if so you have my money
