Freaking hell :D here's my story :
my nickname in all games has been NeuroWolf, so I decide to google it...and this comes up :D
Please tell me, how you modify the game to add new upgrade? I'd like a few upgrades for flamethrower to make it light weight, as well to set people on fire and extend it's burning time.
Maybe also add debuff ability for tesla to make it do DOT damage.
You can edit the files in this Mod quite easily. Just download this mod and unzip it. Then inside the folder caled "base" you will find a file called zzz-neuro_wolf.pk4, unzip this file using WinRar.
Just need to open WinRar and then select File-->Open Archive--> Then find folder that zzz-neuro_wolf.pk4 file is in and make sure you select "show all files" option at bottom.
Then after unzipped go to the folder def--> weapons --> flammenwerfer
Then use a program called Notepad++ (free to download), once installed notepad++ right click file inside flammenwerfer folder called flammen.def, and selct open with Notepad++, inside this file yo will find a list of all of the flamethrowers stats and features that you can chanage.
Then just save this file (flammen.def) and go to the folder zzz-neuro_wolf that you unzipped and use winrar to compress it (add to archive) again and make sure it is named zzz-neuro_wolf.pk4 (get rid of original zzz-neuro_wolf.pk4 file) and now use the mod as usual.
You should also be able to just find these files inside the Vanilla game install folders on your PC (base--> def--> weapons --> flammenwerfer etc.) and just edit them there if you dont want to use this mod. In the vanilla install files on your PC you should also be able to find the flammen_upgrades.def file which should aslo allow you to do more changes to the flamethrower.
Also there is a mod on this ebsite called Retrostein that increases flamethrower burn time but I dont know if it makes it lighter to carry. It also changes many other things too that you may or may not like but he explains everything he changed in good detail.
But if you only want to change the flamethrower you should be able to using my instructions to edit the Vanilla game files on your PC installation of the game.
Awesome to see a mod for this underrated game, but this seems odd to me:
"- Decreased time of reaction of all enemies"
Aren't enemies in this game have atrociously slow reaction time already?
Decreased time = Shorter time
Oh, right, dummy me! Thank you, I've somehow mistaken it for the opposite.
