Since when did custom maps with NPC_Citizens become "mod". I don't see anything modifying the game itself. It's just a map being played in Half Life 2. No biggy. We've all seen this a thousand times before.

It has been a long time since I've checked this out so I thought I'd take a look. I see you guys have made some great progress :)
I'm the Tau'ri radio command voicer. Or at least I was, if you replaced me by now it's all good. lol.
Keep up the good work team.
Hey guys, good to see you still in development. Haven't been paying much attention for a long time (haven't been on moddb in about 3 months) but I like the new pics you got up.
How do you install this? I'm confused.
Portal + UT99? Got my download :D Good work.
Why does it look like a Half Life 1 mod?
Doesn't matter how many pirates there are, they won't find support here. Go buy the game, 40 bucks for 5 games man, definitely a deal that no one can deny especially since the quality of the Orange Box games are very high!
Also, this is currently Multiplayer only, you won't be able to get on any servers to enjoy it.
Currently Multiplayer. Singleplayer is still being fine tuned.
Yea, now I'm not as interested in FF. Still a great mod, but I just love how TF2 changed the gameplay.
I think it's dead...unfortunately...
So far I'll agree with everyone on the current issues. One map, I forget which (the one with the Ha'Tak), has a nodraw wall in it. Other than that, the maps are beautiful!
Also, why am I not given credit in any of this? I did after all do the voice overs for the Tau'ri Soldier...
Well I gave this mod a try, and must say I am impressed. There are of course some problems I am having.
1) Controls. I am so used to regular RTSs that there is a slight annoyance with your control scheme. Movement should be defaulted to the arrow keys for one. Also, I noticed there are no stop or attack to commands, just click. This makes it bad for when you want your unit to stop something, you have to tell it to move first.
2) Construction. It's great, I love it...but when rotating sometimes the command doesn't go through.
3) Invisible Eye! You can see units when they are out of the fog of war, simply by hovering over them, or even observing grass movements. This can help you prepare for ambushes, but can also ruin the fact that you can't see the entire field.
4) Movement. I know this must be difficult to prefect, but the units movement should be tweaked some more as they tend to have delayed responses and go where you do not want them to.
5) Multi-layer buildings. I love how you can go into buildings and infiltrate them, but imo you shouldn't see units that are not on the level you are viewing, except for the units outside. This causes confusion for me personally.
That is all I can think of and I hope you get multiplayer soon, without the lag of course. Good work guys and girls!
Before I complained about needing the Orange Box to play, well guess what? I got it! Downloading now and will get back to you guys after I've checked it out. Good work though :D
I'm finally back and ready to give this a shot! With the Orange Box to boot :D Stand by for C&C from me :)
It saddens me to not be able to try this mod out. i'm currently away at my moms for at least a week so I won't be able to try it until I return :( This saddens me, but! When I return I will have the OB :D
Just a question to those who have played it, what do you guys think of the voice overs? I did some for the Tau'ri for this team and was just curious if I did an okay job (I know the dev team liked it, but I wanna know what the people think).
Anyways, I'm glad to see some promising ratings, and am truly excited to play it! Good work team!
I know, I just don't feel like running up to the store. Maybe I'll get it this week when I get out of town.
God damn you all for becoming Orange Box required...I guess I HAVE to get it now that every mod is turning into the OB...Damn money hungry Valve!
It has a kind of weak lung...I say make it have more thrust. Great model, just the animation make it seem weak and slow.
When I read Sonic: TFH I honestly thought The effing hedgehog haha. But anyways, looks pretty cool. I'll download the demo and check it out.
Ah, just checking. At first I thought this was an actual mod and I was like "Already? What the heck!?" lol. But I noticed the limbs and such are the regular ones.
It's not a bad idea really. Making templates for people who either can't make their own very well or don't want to make their own is actually a good way to get many different types of one creature. Now that this is released there will probably be hundreds of different squirrels running around. Some with spikes, some with flora.
Template packs are a good idea and I think a lot of people should consider making some. There are some very talented Creature Creators. Who knows, maybe I'll make one or two.
Procedural technology is definitely the best out there. This is the same stuff Spore will be using and I love it! I can't wait to see the universe in this game, it looks amazing! Keep it up guys and gals.
What is this, just a bunch of already made creatures?
She's so beautiful...oh god...I think I wet myself.
Marvelous, absolutely marvelous. I love all of Litfusefilms videos, no matter how short they are. They are all impressive. I wish I could make videos with such skill. Oh well, I guess i'll put my efforts into admiring the work of others, because they ROCK.
Hahaha! I'm not sure if i'd go THAT far, but thanks dude :D
Are you kidding me? A Shooter in WC3? That's freaking crazy!
I believe you mean recon bike? Either way, looks nice. The wheels seem a bit blocky though, are they supposed to be like that?

Nothing much to share except I had a chance at supporting and helping a mod develop, for which I am proud of. (Half Life 2 Mod - Stargate Legacy: Original Tau'ri Voice Actor.) Other than that I am a proud Canadian gamer.
