The game doesn't care about the condition of the items that you wanna use inside the craft.ltx file. But the crafted item is always 100%.

And I have absolutely no idea how to do that otherwise (without a script).

The same problem is here in this mod.

I see the same problems here when i was working on my Modular Armor mod (which i never released). To combine a tactical vest and an armor vest I used the craft.ltx. The problem here is that the final item is everytime "condition 100%".

In short. There is a need for a script to combine items with a true condition status.

The modular helmets was more of a test mod to see if something like modular vests are possible. You see, without a conditions script it is not worth it. If someone knows how to make such a script let me know. Still got all the files and graphics for the mod.

Neat +1, instead of a silhouette or a placeholder would it be possible to make some kind of loading icon? Like the circle one in tarkov when you reload your mags.
When the icon is gone the player knows the body is fully searched. Maybe as a timed replacer for the mouse icon.
I think thats the easiest to do and most effective way to show.

Text is done. Still a little bit hard to read, but there is nothing i can do about that. The game itself makes it a little bit blurry.

I looked into that, but i can see no workaround without a script. I want to learn to write scripts in lua, but at this point i'm not able to.
But at least, there is now a centered version for the LAM ;)

To be honest, the head mounted laser is the simple solution - on a gun ... way more difficult, but i will take a look if this is possible.
I mean, it IS possible. I'm pretty sure about that. But my modding skills are not the best.

The details of the icons are not better visible in 50x50 pixels. Restricted by the engine.
And i tried my best to get them as good looking as possible.
Glucose, that is what they look like in real life. But you can change it back yourself, if you don't like it.
Change the ui_equipment file with a graphic program or change the config file to another graphic.

And most of the items are from "Escape from Tarkov", so if u can show me the army medkit there, i will happily change it.

Checked description of army bandage - not broken!
So, go to your: \gamedata\configs\text\eng folder and open st_items_medical.xml with wordpad or notepad or whatever.
First block should be the "Anti-radiation drugs"
Second block should be the "Bandage"
Third block -->ARMY BANDAGE<--
If this third block is NOT there please reinstall the st_items_medical.xml file.

Of course not. The laser pointer is mounted on the side of your head.
(FIRST line of the description)

So at distances that are too close (knife distance) the dot is too high and on one side. duh

This is more of an indicator than a precision target system. Btw. hip firing is also not precise. :P

Technically this is just a headlamp. So you can wear a headlamp OR the laser device. The NVGs still got their flashlights. I can make a version in which u can use the NVGs with a laser dot instead the flashlight. What isn't working: Headlamp + laser, NVG + headlamp + laser

@GabeCPB0: A long comment needs a long answer:
Thanks a lot for your kind words. The medic overhaul and the interface is the biggest project for me so far. One problem for sure is, that i am not a very experienced modder. (I mod things since ever, but not complicated ones)

On first release i thought it was a very highly compatible mod ... ah yeah ... should be pretty clear that this was NOT the case. Therefore i made as much merges as possible. But these take time. And the next problem is that i don't use most of the mods which i made merges for. Next point is, i don't use any sort of mod enabler (JSGME for instance). So, yep, i'm pretty aware, that this can cause game breaking bugs and crashes.
Any suggestion how i can solve this?

Next is I work 10 hours straight and after comming home i sat here for about another 4-5 hours on making this thing here. And next is that i'm not the youngest anymore and my english skills are a little bit rusty. Therefore i shortly started streaming on twitch to get better again.
Feel free to find and correct grammatical mistakes or simply just make better descriptions. I would happily implement them.

But on one point you are wrong: >>I<< prefer realism over playability. This doesn't work on a mod which are for a lot of people.

For the enhanced drug descriptions: I noticed that (mainly because i had no idea myself what some of the meds are doing). Sadly this was all the way down on my priority list. It was way more important to balance and merge all the stuff here. Thats why i released nearly every 1-2 days new updates, merges or fixes.
And hover your mouse over the items - the new interface is perfect for that. At least it is now way better visible to see those things.

Was it helpfull? ... I would say informative for me. But for real. If you wanna make better descriptions and correct my errors I am thankfull for every little help that i can get.


Grammatical errors? Whoever finds them can keep them :P

Do me a favour, make a clean install of anomaly.
Only install BodyhealthSystem, the newest version of Meds Overhaul and the Interface. Nothing else!
Then you will see if you got the problem from my mod or in conflict with anything else.

Jep, just forgot to put that in the MedsOverhaul. Bandages should only stop bleeding. For temporarily wound treating thats why there are painkillers in the game.
Otherwise people would be spam bandages and never use the painkillsers
