Is there a way to keep the armor untouched?

Does it only affect the first armor+model or do the model changes carry on to the other sets?

It's the first installation step on the version 1.0 download page. Guess I understood it incorrectly.
Still, I copied it over a version with the latest unofficial patch and I encountered no bugs. Guess they'll show up later so I'll just get a clean install, so thanks.

Nevermind, the download page clearly says "Install any version of the game.".

I won't like it,C&C's were unique because of the base building,they remove it....
While the weren't many improvements in Tiberium Wars,i considered the scrin faction,even if i didn't like it, a good thing,because it added some diversity in the game.Now they remove it...
The idea of mobile bases means there won't be massive battles,therefore it will be nothing compared to the other C&C's...
The bottom line,HATE IT.

If you don't know hamachi creates virtual LAN networks.....Local Area Network.

starcraft was acclaimed because of its very balanced factions and also unique...this game also has balanced factions but they're TOTALLY unique,no race builds they're base or gathers resources like the other,the aliens are something i never seen,playing with them is a micromanagement hell...but come on how about you could move your entire base to another resource camp...or do what i do spread the aliens on the entire map and having to click the mouse 3 times per sec in order to manage them,this game is hightly underrated,and should be as popular as starcraft.
Anyone feels like making a hamachi network so we may have multyplayer matches :)?

they should just release what they have so maybe another team can take it...i mean come on a lot of people would be happy.....

i haven't been visiting this mod for some time,tell me are they balanced now?i know they're a bit(a lot) overpowered,or at least it seemed that way when they had a lot more fewer units like 20 things compared to meh 60 Seaside Boyz army and Meh Seaside Boyz got defeated along with the squiggy they just got
