Oh hey thanks ill try it but dune buggy looks derpy when enemies drive it its all...kinda loses that serious feeling when you see some derpy enemy driving a buggy wildly

I had already downloaded it and installed and I must say that immersive hud thing...is it possible to turn off too? Like would be nice if ammo counter was like before and showed what ammo you have exactly after shooting. Thanks!

Is it possible to still download the Mad Max v2 file? Or could that be uploaded somewhere as v3 and v3.5 has some undesirable changes, like the new textures they're kind of off and enemy riding dune buggy etc.

But this mod has a lot of quality of life features that are so great and update the far cry 2 to more modern standards yet I can't seem to get used to the hardcore mechanics of the new map since the vanilla map system is already very hard to navigate. So I was really looking forward to a more vanilla redux of the mod, and I saw there used to be a special version of this mod before which did exist as a special version but its been since replaced :(

Even if the mod is intended to stay this way, could I at least request guiding me through how to restore the old map system? Even if its via pm? I know I'm asking a lot but I'd be grateful as far cry 2 has always been my favourite far cry.

Is it possible to completely restore the old map system? Plus make the sprint unlimited and remove malaria except cut-scene triggers? (The latter two exist as a fix but not sure it'd work with this Community.pcgamingwiki.com)

Is there a way to make the enemy checkpoints no longer respawn upon reload or fast travel? it really gives the incentive to explore new locations, new ouposts and try to take them out for xp! Whereas in the current game its reset every time so one can farm xp sure but...it really makes you lose that sense of wold progression. Please tell me there's an way to turn off enemy respawns completely.

*EDIT* It's also one of the main things that would streamline the gameplay so much to far cry standards (besides the terrible story)
