John Baker went through basic training at Camp Claiborne, Louisiana before shipping off to Afrika at the start of U.S. involvement in the ground war.

John Baker makes another appearance as one of three playable protagonists in Heroes. Missions involving him all take place in Italy as part of Operation Avalanche. His objectives include from shutting down an Nazi airfield to stealing the Enigma Machine to liberating the city of Naples from the Germans.
