Can you run GOG vanilla blood? I just checked these settings again, and they should work if GOG blood works. One thing I forgot to mention is that in the default dosboxBloodDW.conf, there are two [autoexec] entries. There should be only one.

The installation instructions supplied didn't work for me, so after checking the ini/conf files I changed/corrected some things that got the game to work for me. I'm using a fresh GOG install on win7 64.

0. Run and configure the Blood setup, set your keys. Your settings will also be used by the mod.

1. Unzip Death_Wish_1.3.zip, copy all FILES to your gamedir (all files should be in the dir where blood.exe is located).

2. In dosboxBloodDW.conf:

- change machine=svga_s3 to machine=vesa_nolfb
- check if IRQ is the same as in the blood setup (default GOG: IRQ=7)
- replace [autoexec] section with:

mount C "d:\Games\One Unit Whole Blood\"
imgmount D "d:\Games\One Unit Whole Blood\game.ins" -t iso
c:
cls
BLOOD.EXE -ini dw.ini
exit

Change "d:\Games\One Unit Whole Blood\" to your installation path.

3. In dw.ini:

Under [Episode1], [Episode2] and [Episode3], remove the C:\ from the cutscene references:

CutSceneA=C:\dw1a.smk becomes CutSceneA=dw1a.smk
CutWavA=C:\dw1a.wav becomes CutWavA=dw1a.wav etc.

There should be 12 lines to change, 4 per episode.

4. Create a shortcut/bat-file with the following parameters:

"D:\Games\One Unit Whole Blood\DOSBOX\DOSBox.exe" -conf "..\dosboxBloodDW.conf"

Change "d:\Games\One Unit Whole Blood\" to your installation path.

5. Play game by launching shortcut.

This did it for me, it should work for everybody who can run GoG blood.
