First things first. Thx for all the hours in X3 where I worked my *** off to get enough credits to buy the Star Wars ship I wanted or the time which I spent playing arround with the console just to get a better look on all the models.

I was hoping that you would continue your Mod form X3 on the new X4. I loved playing X3 with your mod and couldn't think of playing it without it anymore. Although X3 is still a good looking game and fun to play, the interface was always cluttered and easy to lose the overview. X4 looks a little bit more tidy in these regards When I have more time again to actually playing the game I hope to enjoy it with your wonderful Star Wars Mod again.

As I mentioned above hard is nothing more than shoving more money to the AI and this won't change in the late game. But I have to agree this is very annoying and prolonging the late game. In my opinion the late end game is more a problem of the game itself than any mods fault. I remember a campaign where in the end the enemies fleet was only retreading the whole time and I had to get 3 fleets on separate positions to finally catch them. Although there was no hostile planet left.

About the B-Wings, I heard they want to change it so it is worth buying. I think one of the Modders said that one of the problems of the B-Wings was it's massive hitbox. Will sie what the new version gives us.

That is a complain seen very often but simply a problem connected to all AI's on strategy games where there is a campaign map. They always cheat money because otherwise they would not have much of a chance against a human player. Because the AI is following instructions and not really learning or adapting to a players strategies. If you would give the AI the same condition as the player it would just throw it's fleets at you and once you destroyed them you can roll over the map. The difficulty option in the vanilla game does more or less nothing else as changing the amount of resources the AI gets to work with.

The AI in the battle itself is something different. If you saw any videos of the new Version of the mod you will recognize that it uses its units more clever than in the previous and vanilla version of the game. Instead of simply charging to the spacestation, they assemble their troops first and take alternative routes to their goal. For example Ties go straight forward while bombers fly out of side to the blind spot of the enemy army. And I would call that a big improvement.

Speaking of AI, will the new Version stop the enemy AI from skipping hyperlanes and use the same lanes like the player?Because this is utmost annoying. Also will the hyperlane system be changed in the 1.2 as i thought it had no real conflict zones, because you could jump from most planets to the other planets. Those are two aspects which make especially the late game a real hell, not because of difficulty but simply prolonging inevitable victory.
