La patch in italiano è per la versione 1.2 del gioco. E' compatibile con la versione di Steam e funziona con la versione originale del gioco 1.20 (anno 1998).
La patch 1.28 C in italiano non è stata fatta, o meglio ci stavo lavorando... vedremo in futuro cosa riesco a fare. Non puoi mettere la patch 1.20 in italiano sopra la patch 1.28 C. Non funziona.

The Italian patch is for the 1.2 version of the game. It is compatible with the Steam version and works with the original game version 1.20 (1998 year).
Patch 1.28 C in Italian was not done, or rather I was working on it ... we will see in the future what I can do. You can't put the 1.20 patch in Italian over the 1.28 C patch. It doesn't work.

Aces over Europe doesn't have the 7217 error.
After installation it works fine. Revision of the game had a great help from MrJelly. However, it is currently not ready.

what is the brand of your mouse? I have a lLogitech and I haven't problem.
What is your operating system? Win 7 or Win 10?
A known mouse bug is this:

Mouse pointer on screen
The desktop mouse pointer will sometimes appear in the center of the screen, frozen. The game will work fine and you can still use the in-game mouse to move around.
Usually a game restart will fix this problem temporarily. If not try turning off in Windows; 3D Pointer or Animated Pointers or Shadow Pointer. You can also try to use the Windows default pointers as a last resort.

Please, consult the extras directory in the game ...

I'm glad you could finish your campaign.
I hadn't considered this aspect of the "eaw.ini" file. I always thought that we would have used the "eaw.ini" file installed with the first version of the mod and not that we would have deleted the "ini" file to regenerate it from the game.
