Thanks mate it's probably so large because I've been playing that map for ages, keep up the good work. Also, I've hit this point where the base I'm in is surrounded by about 20-30 enemies and about 4 armoured cars... Got any advice?

This is so much fun. Spent the last couple of days gradually taking Stratis island. Sadly, however, the game saves in an inefficient way; after several cumulative hours of playing the save files are a whopping 800mb each, making saving and loading slower and slower every time. The longer you play the larger the save file. Anyone else getting this?

The White Council is supposedly still alive... just. I hope they release it.

I still don't get why they don't make the mod with random names, and then someone "externally" creates a name submod... I can't help but feel that the MERP team has been completely fooled. Do WB really care about a small mod that much? Or do they just want to stall you for as long as possible and just frighten you? Besides, why aren't the modders creating this mod privately?

I'm not saying WB don't have the means to find everyone, but their C&D could not have been directed at everyone, that is my point.

I posted this three or four times in several locations and people seemed to ignore it, I still think it's the solution to our problem.

So what body are WB actually targetting, I'm still confused about this. They can't be targetting an individual because, any 1 person has only a small impact on the whole project. Furthermore, if they target 1 person, all the the others are still free to continue. They can't be targetting a company either, because there is none!

Your post brings up a valid point, even if it was not your intent. What body are WB actually targeting? It's not like there is a company to focus on. They can't be threatening individual members because what grounds could they possibly have? Neither can they target the leader because it is an informal role, not an official position.

Are they really going to stand up to WB when they are contractually bound to them? They're hardly going to start a revolution for fear of being punished. Besides any negative impact on WB will directly impact them, negatively.

Do you really think Bathesda will risk a very expensive legal battle with WB over 1 single mod?

Why don't you release the mod with different names, thus avoiding the copyright issues, then "another team" should make a mod for your mod that changes all the names. Bingo, problem solved.

If it becomes a battle WB will win. What we want is them to turn away from the battle before it begins.

I just don't get it! TATW is very popular and copied absolutely everything from the films. They were non-profit too.

I've got a really bad feeling about this. Can't see why they'd stop all work and go completely silent if they were going to announce a release. It's almost like they're going to announce its cancellation.

Doesn't look too bad for a MOBA game. As long as it's super balanced like DOTA or at least to the standard of LoL then it'll be good.

TATW uses clips, images, styles and music from the films, which probably means that MERP's decision not to use HS's music was because they don't actually want to use it, as opposed to them being afriad of legal action.

AHHHHH!! Excitement!! If this mod ends up as perfect as TA:TW was for ME2:TW, then I think this could become the greatest game in history. I'm a web developer, but I don't think you really need one... If you do however, feel free to give me a shout.
