Thanks for the info. Although, if I remember correctly, HEAT doesn't work the best against thick-skinned vehicles like tanks. I can't remember why, however. Did APFSDS exist in the sixties or no?

Weird, I can't seem to find it in that article. It's just the equipment list and then the note about SP and MP at the top.

So, how realistic is this mod aiming to be in portraying the equipment and combat of the 60s exactly? The equipment list looks very nice, but how will these pieces be implemented? Will weapon ranges be realistic? Things like that.

No I mean logging on in game. That I can't do. Or do you mean if I download it from somewhere other than the CoH website, that won't happen?

Damn. I can't play the latest patches because you have to log on, and it won't accept my log on. I lost my box a long time ago, and had to use a key that wasn't my own (a friend let me use his.) So because someone else is using this key, it says "Invalid key" and tells me something about how pirating games is bad or something. Any way to work around this? Anything to make it so I don't have to log in first?

No, it was adopted from the Browning model 1903, and had many improvements on it. The fact that it looks like the M1911 is irrelevant.

What about the KVS1 and SU-76? Or the T-60?

That makes them more agile and quick, which was one of the major advantages the T-34s had against the german Panzers, which were far less mobile.

CoD is a GAME. A HUGE majority of Russians had guns. If a Russian soldier did not have a firearm, it was probably because he LOST it. The Russians didn't beat the germans by throwing rocks at them and charging at them with their bare hands. Oh, and they didn't shoot people who retreated eithier (at least not immediatley.)

Hey, question: should this work with CoH (no expansions) on patch 1.71? I can't figure out why it wouldn't, but I decided to ask just to be sure.
