Try ton uninstall and delete everything and re-install again.

Try to make a fresh start by uninstalling and cleaning everything then reinstall the mod.
It generally does the job.

Try to redownload the packs. You might have a corrupted file.
Open it maybe with administrator rights.

It takes a very long time to install. Wait for the process to finish its task even if it says "Program doesn't respond".

What do you mean by "troops running away" ?

Peninsular campaign hasn't been modded. Only the grand campaign has been redone.

Not sure to understands. There are a lot new units in NTW3.
Lots of uniform changes too.

Hey, remove all other mods from your data folder.
Also you must have started Napoleon total war at least once before being able to start NTW3.

If this is not the cause, than better is to uninstall the mod and reinstall the Main Pack and the HB pack. HB pack is not an necessary, but better to install it for future patches.

It was supposed to be in v4.0, but something went wrong at the end. We didn't want to cause any further delays to the release, so we released it with out.

HD smoke rendering mod will be included in the next patch. :)

The mod has been optimized to be played on "normal unit size". Anything above, or under will give different results.
My advise, stick to normal unit size and you'll get the realism you're seeking. :-)
