ive replayed the mission at least 30 times by now, trying different sorcerer combos, saving powers for tight situations, everything you could think of, nothing works..... so for those who like the campaign, play till mission 4 with the shards, dont even bother with barrow downs and go do something else

unfortunately idk if its because of 2.02 v9, but the Barrow Downs mission in vanilla campaign, is now literally impossible no matter what you do...... angmar needs either a gigantic buff on their units, or men need a massive nerf

edain and aotr play with different patches, if you look in the articles section of this mod it will tell you what patches and what things work with each mod,

yes they can coexist with each other just remember to switch patches back and forth, HOWEVER, you cant load edain maps in AOTR and vice versa, ALSOOOOOOOOO make sure you dont load EDAIN create a hero with AOTR and again vice versa

i found building a armory first vs the factions 300 cost building ( cave, malorn tree, farm, slaughterhouse, etc...) easy cuz then it upgrades quicker..... as for goblins, the drums in the deep spawns 5 battalions of units WITH heavy armor ALREADY on them....... just haveta get banner carriers and forged blades...... i will admit some things take awhile, like a fully upgraded army of gundabad orcs, in the misty mountains case...... but that is supposed to be for end game content not within the first 15 minutes of a map....... also clear out ALL of the lair camps (goblins, trolls, wargs, drakes, wights, whatever) to get some extra money early on as well as leveling up heros, makes things run even smoother, as well as with gobins going for the scavenge power early game...........

update: i freshly removed all files and reinstalled it all, following the crash/trouble download steps, same error message pops up.... you have said this mod can coexist with edain, do i need to remove or add files? thanks again for helping

and yes i attempt to run it while edain is in fact disabled

UPDATE: now i autodie after 5 mins and the texts arent complete, still says MISSING:_____ on half the objects/spells/buildings/factions/maps

age of the ring has a LOT of promises and fantastic potential,

and yet people are angry at the fact that they are releasing factions "late"

DID U GUYS FORGET HOW LONG IT TOOK EDAIN? almost a year just for imladris.....

PLUS in the FAQ's AOTR had said they will release the factions when they are comfortable with them AND had said lothlorien isnt that far away and will be released soon THATS QUICK if you ask me......

we are fresh new on a great mod guys calm tf down if ur that impatient and cant enjoy content and you decide to play a faction once then call yourself bored and want new **** to come out

yes 1.1 is a patch to 1.0 its not the acuall mod

you obviously never played vanilla or edain, hes always attacked like that just the mind control ability and lighting bolt ability where switched from this mod..... hes always had a max 3 units ina regular mob hit/ tiny knockback unless he had the ring in edain then he had fireball/lightning bolt basic attack....... they did great on all the heros in this mod and the fact that he has 5 units of bodyguard makes him better then usual..... just saying

i think its funny how you guys said u will release factions when you feel comfortable enough to make them public..... and yet people are still asking when they will be released,

DID U NOT PAY ATTENTION THEY SAID WHEN THEY ARE DONE WITH MAKING THE FACTION LOOK GOOD THEY'LL RELEASE THEM, IN THE MEANTIME YOU GUNNA HAVETA BE PATIENT AND WAIT LIKE THE REST OF US

Gondor is fixed? woohoo!

no longer works with 2.02 patch

i do have a problem tho, after a while in skirmish mode, while i was playing gondor and wanted to see how cool i could make a base....... my command point limit kept going down and down until there was none, i could no longer retrain units or heros or anything it just went away.....

and im talking a hour long game, is this a known bug for gondor, or?

SO edain, we have amazing factions, Lothlorien, Imladris, Gondor, [ depending on the map Arnor ], Rohan, Angmar, Mordor, Isengard,

are you going to introduce more? like Goblins for instance?
add Azog as a hero unit?
SMAUG as their ring hero or one of the last powers in their powertree?

just a giant tolkien fan, bfme fan, and edain team fan, who wants to see this explode and become more perfect then it already is, lmao

when you are op as rohan now because theoden with the ring using glorious charge is bugged on my version and lasts the entire game

i had the same issue a while back, but when i put it on legendary heros, for some reason it was fixed, lol, try that, and if it still dont work just re-update it

hey there edain, i hate to bother you, but, as rohan when i make the exile camp.......... it does the resources like every millisecond lol, it might be an issue with my end but i was just making sure no one else had that problewm, because rohan would be overpowered making ten thousand resources every minute, haha

She Seems AMAZING

in the 6 person mirkwood map she becomes a permanent summon, the rest of the maps shes temporary

hey edain team, i hate to bug you, but recently when i play as mordor, when i choose to make the nasgul (team of 5), castellions, or morgal riders, the game crashes on me, but everything else on all the other factions seems to be absolutely fine, with no lag at all, any thoughts?
