Could Africa be broken up further? Into smaller, more specific, territories.
Could Africa be broken up further? Into smaller, more specific, territories.
that's a current issue that's been addressed and fixed.
One thing I've always wanted to know, what's the equation for determining the overall column?
Since no one really looks at the regiments until first looking at the side colors, will there be a sort... 'hardcore' variation to the gameplay, where only the side colors display on the entities themselves and not with a banner?
True that, but it is hard to judge a mod from the text that's put up on the forums. That's one of the things I'm looking forward to playing with when the full version is released. :)
So snipers are, for lack of a better description, becoming obsolete in this mod?
so have it set as an infantry-only bonus? And by being able to target, I meant similar to how if you place an arty barrage on a specific entity, it'll focus fire that entity. Maybe have the same function for snipers? Where when you click 'attack' and then place it on a entity, they'll focus fire that entity then switch to the overall unit once it's kill.
Have the dynamics for snipers changed? Could you make them operate similarly to targeted artillery? Being able to fire from afar without taking fire themselves? and be able to target individuals?
are portable bunkers going to require a unit for them to be active, similar to a city? Or, are they going to act as a lone entity?
What about aircraft that are designed solely for strafing enemy units? I know that the Germans found a way to attached a 37mm cannon to Stukas and the HE111 for the purpose of AT and AM.
What about a flight school building? You'd be able to "teach", meaning research, manuevers which would add to your defensive bonus for either fighters, bombers or both. I've seen the use of fighter bombers in your previous mod, and I believe that they should be reclassed as fighters while keeping their bombing capabilities, the only reason to reclass them is for tech research, to keep them from having too many and making them slightly OP, though you're good at balancing :)
Would there be a way to incorporate fighters that can dogfight? e.g. being able to turn more sharply and not let the other fighter get a lead on them, and their speed affecting the opponent's accuracy?
Is the final version still set to be November 2014 or has it been set back?
just post them on here, read through the comments though - a fair amount of them have already been reported. Most of them are graphical, but some are functional errors. E.g. the machine gun infantry only firing at aircraft, but some of the skins not rendering properly.
Has a patch been released?
They're doing weapons that were in their alpha-phases during WW2.
I'm not the best with triggers, but I guess I could copy the ones used on Arctic Roadways. It's only one city that I can't get to work.
I've tried that, before I would just have to click 'verify map' to connect cities but that doesn't do anything for some reason. :\
Oh well, I can always use a default city.
I can no longer create cities - and by that I mean: I cannot add individual blocks with a city center and then attach them to that city center. Did the way that happen change with this mod or did I just forgot how to do it.
They don't seem powerful enough actually, vehicles have such resistance to most attacks that infantry use; rifles, grenades and MGs, that most of the time a single mechanized assault unit (USA) can beat down a mechanized unit without losing too many people, maybe 2-3 max.
Most of these have already been brought to light, it's because his windows XP reads the path ways differently than say Windows 8.1, which I have.
Has a patch been released yet?
Machine gun infantry only fire at aircraft, not ground units or buildings.
Blizzard needs to be fixed, badly. You CANNOT play on Arctic Roadways at all due the blinding purple squares that cover the field.
Is there a file that I can open and paste a saved map into it? I can't find any of the maps I created in Editor saved in files.
This was already answered, read back
In the custom-made scenario map Pitchfork river, in the town that is split into 3 towns, a few of the buildings aren't bound to the city center. I've gone through and deleted them and cleaned the area up, but just something minor to keep an eye out for in the development of this mod later on.
Most of the time when I play a custom match I just go into editor and add some cities in a semi-circular fashion around the map.
Yeah that would be problematic lol.
