That was a good suggestion, but unfortunately I loaded up my game and found that I don't have any artifacts on my belt, or in my inventory at all for that matter.

Ok now I have a new problem: My health is draining very slowly, and nothing I do will stop it. I've used bandages, gauze, first aid kits, anti-rad drugs, antibiotics, weird hypodermics, every medical item I had at the time, and no matter what I do, my health will not stop going down.

Is this supposed to happen? Is there some really specific health item I need to stop it?

I'd really like help with the second one because it's just getting ridiculous.

Is there a way to take rounds OUT of magazines? I'd like to use the 7.62x39mm rounds from the AK-47 mags I have, in my SKS, but as far as I can tell, they are trapped inside.

Also how do I fix the crazy head spinning when getting shot? I tried changing the cam_cantremember value in the user.ltx to 0.1 as said previously in the comments, however that did not do the trick.

Yeah, even after a full reinstall of everything, I'm still getting vanilla.

I'm stumped, not sure what would cause this. I mean nothing is changing at all, not even textures or anything, which doesn't make sense in itself.

I'll see about doing another fresh install and see what happens, it is really strange. I've never had such an extensive mod just, not do anything, before.

Hey I'm having trouble getting this mod to work, it doesn't mess up my game or crash or anything, it just won't do anything. I installed the mod and needed components (Code patch and rock thing), and made sure the .esp for everything was activated, messed around with the load order even.

Every time I start up Morrowind it's just vanilla Morrowind, everything looks the same, as if no mods are installed at all.

Do you have any suggestions as far as what to do? This is a fresh install of the GOTY edition, with both Bloodmoon and Tribunal installed and activated.

Would you please help me? My game crashes every time I try and enter the NPP near the end. It asks me if I want to travel to the next area, I say yes, it loads for a few seconds, then crashes.

I've tried like 5 times now and it won't make it past a few seconds of loading.

Sweet a Colorado-bro. Anyways, I'm doing the "turn off the brain scorcher" mission, and my mission is all ****** up and blurry, even after getting inside the bunker, and it won't go away. I was under the impression the 1.1 patch fixed the "****** up vision forever" bug, was I mistaken? If not, how do I fix this.

Ok so disabling UAC fixed it, for those of you having the issue I had, disable UAC.

Alright so I'm having some trouble getting this mod installed, I'll start by saying yes I've looked at your FAQs and went back 5 pages on your troubleshooting forums looking for an answer and have not found one.

I'll try and be as clear and descriptive as possible: I downloaded all 3 of the installers, and tried to start the first one, but it won't start, at least not for real. Now when I try and start the installer, for about a fraction of a second I can see a window open and disappear in the task bar.

Now I opened my task manager and could see that the installer was open under the processes tab (Not Processes tab, not Applications). I tried alt-tabbing to see if the installer was hidden, and tried finding a way to switch to the process through task manager, but I couldn't find anything. I also tried ending the process and starting the installer again, a few times actually, and still nothing.

Now I also tried running the installer as administrator, but all that did was freeze up windows explorer, forcing me to end it and restart it. I disabled my anti-virus as well and this did not solve the problem either.

The one thing I haven't tried, is disabling UAC, but that requires me to reboot my PC so I'll post this first, and if it fixes it then I'll reply and say so, if not, I would really like some help as far as what could be causing this and what to try next.

Ok maybe I'm just stupid but I cannot beat Harvest. After I kill everything and get the hostages, no matter where I take them, the mission will not end. I have literally walked them to every place on the map and it will not trigger the end of the mission.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Both me and my friend experience crashes when trying to loot NPC's sometimes, not sure if we're the only ones.

So my friend got this, and when he installed LURK and started the game, it just started as regular SoC. anyone know what causes this, or what he did wrong?

Medkit bug just happened to me last night, and I've got the patch, so you're right it's not gone for good.

Is not getting the science suit after doing the scientist escort mission a bug or supposed to be like that? Because it happened to me in 1.0552 and 1.1, and it seems really dumb because it's like I do that whole mission for nothing.

Well reinstalling fixed my crashes, so I'm glad we both get to play now.

The fat bald shopkeep guy right when you start? That's where I would crash before.

Anyways I decided before a full reinstall I should try again, and I was able to talk to Wolf this time, but rather unsurprisingly, when I clicked "I'll try" to accept the mission, I crashed.

I'm using the Steam version, which I don't think should affect anything, I mean the previous version worked just fine for me. The error I get is "XR_3DA.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION in module "e:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\stalker shadow of chernobyl\bin\xrGame.dll" at 001B:05EE24C3"

I'll try deleting and re-downloading xrGame.dll and see if that does anything.

Ok I fixed that by press esc instead of clicking "Ok, I'll try" to end the dialogue, but now I'm crashing when I try to talk to anyone outside. Guess I'll just try reinstalling everything.

I crash every time I end the conversation with the shopkeep at the beginning, anyone else have this, or know what to do?

This game was good at first, but you quickly realize almost none of the difficulty is legitimate, and just either stupid level design, bad controls, or the fact that you slide around after jumping on anything.

I quit after the boss on Techno Hill (A level which is a prime example of non-legitimate difficulty), where you have to hit Robotnik of course, basic stuff, but oh surprise you fly back 100 feet after you do so you fall right off the stage.

The game has potential but is ruined by bad controls, and things that just don't make sense to me.

I'm sure I'll try it again later but really, first impression was not stellar.
