While the map is well made and the sides are well done, neither is close to perfect. The map is way too dark, rough around the edges and doesn't carry a fun layout to traverse. The map is also really good looking and technically great. The sides are the same way, where there are some issues but they're elevated by how unique and amazing they look. Not to say the sides play bad either, they play fine. I'm excited to see what future updates will hold.

It's okay

This mod adds a variety of new features that just make the new sides remarkable. Excellent balancing, excellent models, custom sounds, and custom galactic conquest are just a couple things that makes this project stand out among the large batch of mods that clutter this website. Really gives me those good ole feels of when I was a little youngin' playing this game on my PS2. My point is that this mod is just fantastic, I always come back to this mod just for casual play because it is miles above other common projects. Tons of effort and care was put into it and it really shows. Personal favorite mod in my collection and I think everyone should give it a try if they haven't already.

All the changes to weapons, sound, and HUD are all masterfully executed. The models are especially great.

I originally gave this mod a 10/10 for being unique and straight up awesome when the original demo came out. While there were a couple bugs and oddities that would pop up, I never experienced any issues myself. The only "issues" I would encounter was that Felucia didn't have the Rebel side finished and Hoth would crash. Other than that, I thought the demo was really well made and is still one of my favorite mods made.

The CW beta release is the opposite really. Wonderful models and unique looks to everything presented (on the republic side at least), but the gameplay is severely lacking. The CIS side has a clear advantage on very map and it is really a shame.

BUC is still looked upon as a wonderful mod in my eyes but the new 2.0 beta is a real letdown. The demo is still compatible in it's own folder and can be played fine. I strongly recommend the demo *and* the beta just so you get the feel for it. Still a good mod (8/10 is goo ain't it), and it suffers mostly due to the new beta being limited, unfinished and extremely unbalanced.

I don't like playing on the GCW era most of the time. This mod makes it worth playing. I'd play this mod more than the 2015 battlefront, it's that much better.
