Was the AI intelligence upgraded with all these patches or are they still stupid?

Understood. Im not looking at making LA a very hard game. In fact id be good with just a cross between the two. Misery mod is meant to be hard as hell, thats the point of the mod. I just think your mod would gain a lot of serious credibility from finding out how to make the AI itself at least 50-75% as smart as the AI in Misery. LA introduces a huge gameplay area, and right now any experienced player can just steamroll through each level because the AI are no challenge at all. At least in my opinion.

DEZ - is there any way to imitate the Stalker COP Misery 2.1 AI. The AI in that mod kicks ***, literally they are very good and it makes the game a whole different level of performance. I kind of feel like the AI in LA is very dumb.

Does anyone else notice how stupid the AI is? They don't even notice when you standing right in front of them, and if you kill someone in the next room they don't hear the gunfire? Is this something being worked on? Priboi Story had smarter and tougher AI than this.

Are you able to tweak the AI to be a little more aware and tough to deal with? I have it on expert and am breezing through. Half the NPCs dont react to gunfire in the next room.

how do I download the patch?

Do not install the game to a "program files" directory. Install it to its own folder on the C drive, or wherever. All the problems I was having with saving and crashing to desktop have stopped. running smooth as silk since I reinstalled it.

my saved games crash to desktop. anyone know why? I am running it in windows 7 compatibility mode and as admin

Anyone have an issue not being able to save their game? everything is loading right and working great, I just cant save. every time I exit the game and come back in, there is no saved game (yes I did try doing a regular save at the menu and a quick save). All of my control settings and video setting are also reset to default.

Any help figuring out why and how to fix it?

im sure Dez and the team realize this. they are using this "charity" free game to make a name then will start releasing other games for profit. ill buy their products

you will be prompted to click on the torrent lounch file. this will then launch he torrent download in utorrent, or bittorrent or whatever medium you use to process torrent files. figure out where the file is being saved to and then launch setup from there.

ill say this. after this much popularity, they should be able to get backing for a new title to sell. hell id pay for this now

holy ****. that map is insane. the sheer increase in real estate means the playable map is at least double the vanilla release

I thought it was to be released 4/25? that's today? Just wondering whats going on?

Can someone post what the holdup is? Did they really spend 5 years making it, not to have a strong enough delivery method?
