Guys,could you post some closeups of other Ostheer infantry? Can't really see much detail in the closed beta videos.

Guys I have an issue with custom skins, they don't show up sometimes. I was playing as PLA, and the marine camo pattern was worn by militiamen only. Sometimes,only the trouser would have changed camo and reinforced units have the old camo pattern.
When I played as the US, the tan camo showed up on most of the units, but corpses were of urban camo. I was also wondering if PLA infantry will get some love in terms of a bulky ballistic vest,just like the US got. It fair to me that militia should have only the vest to carry ammunition, but for the regulars, some distinct looking armored vest could be a nice addition.
Don't know if the following question was asked(if it was,dont be mad at me ), but is there a chance,that the existing factions are going to get some kind some new basic infantry units,by which I mean foreign or non-regular.
For PLA I would suggest:
As part of "Total mobilization" doctrine, a call in unit of a foreign special ops unit, Russian Alpha f.ex, as a part of Chinese government looking for military advisers. Such an elite( possibly a command unit) unit would give a boost , adding to some stats when up close to other units( something like Panzer elite ability to have better performance of P grenadiers and assault grenadiers). Correct me if I'm wrong. A limit of 1 at a time with no chance of recalling the unit should make a player think twice before putting them into a serious firefight or against armoured vehicles. Could have a portable medical kit to "revive the fallen" and treat wounds,like in the ability of 101st airborne in CoH Tales of Valor first mission. Let's say 4,as other spec ops in the mod.

For the US:

1)How about a cheaper version of infantry? I therefore suggest civilian contractors from,say,Blackwater. These guys could have some custom weapons,giving them an edge, and combat skill above that of riflemen,however,as not issued with heavy body armour or helmets,they should have less "health points". These men could have a limit of units and be superb in capturing points and repulsing those pesky engineers or PLA militia if not outgunned significantly.

2)I am a supporter of variety and also like to see foreign units for US, but I think that US steamroller is more than capable of coping with threats by itself. The only idea I have now was inspired by FELIN set of personal armour issued to French military. I know US have LAND WARRIOR,similar,don't know if superior. As a final upgrade for some doctrine, "Land Warrior" could enable better coordination of units,same as in Panzer Elite,which I mentioned above, and add a skill " Thermal camera" , making some of the soldiers soldiers capable of spotting camouflaged enemies, hunt down crawling snipers and so on.

Hope these ideas can bring something fresh.

They have artillery,tanks and armoured vehicles. Awesome mod! I've been tracking it since last Christmas and this video is more than enough for me to see that mod has progressed over the year.Hope the release is well on its way.
