Ok fixed the problem. For some reason, this game doesn't like autoexec.cfg. Can't figure out what though, mine had only standard stuff in there.

THIS IS THE BEST HL2 MOD

I and many others dissatisfied with the current state of DoD:S will play this mod if you can recapture the feeling of DoD3.1 -- the best and least arcadey version of DoD so far.

And whatever you do, no ironsights please. RnL will fail because of the boring gameplay and campfests due to ironsights. Please don't make the same mistake as all the HL2 mods that try to copy COD.

I like the fact there seems to be no gimmicks like all games these days. A straight up shooter that emphasizes aim and movement skill in a WWII setting is what I'm looking for.

Notice anything about the player models? The models from DOD:S look crap next to the H&J models!

This mod is made by members of the original HL1 DOD team. IMO Valve hired the **** members of the team. The noob pandering, w+mouse1 loving members. The H&J team are the real devs. They know how to make games.

Can't wait for this to come out!
