You do realize how much time and effort it takes to mod right?? If you wanted more content, go make your own one and leave the devs to release what they want

Ive read or played 90% of the eu in SW, and I agree some of it will be missed... but alot of it was inconsistent and wasnt written well

Only a small percentage really, most SW fans wouldnt even know about those books (Which werent that great, the thrawn trilogy was the only thing worth keeping post ROTJ and that book contradicted much of what was established in the PT))... As I have said before, the EU was never canon to the SW universe (GL made that pretty clear on several occasions), only the 6 movies were + there novelizations and TCW series from 2008-2012 were absolute canon (GL had also planned on replacing everything post ROTJ as he already had 2 movie scripts ready for production)

The Force awakens is great, only TESB is better than TFA

The old EU kinda sucked after EP6, only the thrawn trilogy was good and the thrawn trilogy did not fit into the story well at all, TFA seems alot better IMO

I wouldnt say major, they only appeared in one book and in the Empire at war expansion. Their are many pirate factions that are alot larger than the Zann Consortium... including the huttese, the exchange, and the genoharaden (who are all canon), and lets not forget all of the bounty hunter factions that exist

Have you tried to create a knife (Their is a tut on Youtube for it), than you could reskin that as a saber... It would be more hack and slash than anything else but it would work sort of
