I have not made any major changes. It is built on the latest version of Vb.net which should still work on Windows XP or 7. Are you sure resolution scaling in windows isn's causing an issue. Also please send me a screenshot. Thanks.

Always a great mod, need more attention!
Happy New Year!
Today I have released the latest version. During some off time in December I dug back into the code to help mitigate the issues with the launcher caused by the web outage. The launcher should more gracefully handle a website outage and fallback into the offline mode correctly.
I also fixed some issues with how settings are updated if the software happens to be running. There are also a few other things in code that were corrected including mentioning support for EA App, as Origin is more or less going away.
Have fun!
Hello, we had a web outage. Everything should be good now. I am hoping to do a new 1007 version with bug fixes sometime soon, just incase this situation reoccurs.
It can be downloaded from the Downloads section of this MODDB page.
I don't think so. The game isn't under development by the studio. Perhaps a modder could make it playable with a headset.
There is no way with the launcher to change FOV permanently.
Thanks, the goal was to help solve problems just like this.
No fov changes are included with the launcher. Once you have set the correct screen resolution and applied all settings, you should be able to launch the main game or expansion. I have not seen the situation of needing to launch 3x. Some windows settings with the display scaling percentage can cause issues in Windows 10. Can you get a screenshot of the crash?
Well this is one of the goals, a way to keep this great game humming along on newer platforms.
Always ready for more excellent content!
I agree but they have to be set from server side, if you do it from client side is is considered cheating or will be overwritten by the server.
I looked at what you mentioned closer and found two variables ill adjust in the next version. These two will change to this
seta r_subdivisions 3 and seta r_uselod 0 . Seems to fix it.
Thanks for the feedback, I am currently working on a few things like supporting higher refresh rates as well as a few surprises. I think in my default config for the game I am working with the lod bias as high as it can go.
MOHAA will probably not totally die within our lifetime.
This is essentially the latest manual install file.
Automatic update pulls from a limited webhost, it may be slow but it works. I added the update file to moddb a while back.
Whew its been a while since my last update, life gets ya busy. Well I was using this launcher to play today on a 120hz screen, something I had not thought of then was higher fps support and enabling it. It does exist in engine, so that will likely be my next update.
Hello, the issue is caused by the DPI settings in Windows 10. You may need to adjust Windows 10 Screen Resolution or set the DPI to 100% value.
Yes it does, it includes support for all 3 games.
Yes that was the goal of the project. The menus will stretch but the game with be in full hd 1080p at the default field of view.
No problem, I actually want to mention your advice was really helpful. I dug into all the UI files for Medal of Honor, across the base game, Spearhead, and Breakthrough. Something I learned about the interface is that it simulates a virtual resolution for all menu screens. I tested this out and essentially I can make all the menus leading to singleplayer all black bar surrounded in the original resolution 640x480, or you can change the scaling positions of all assets with enough time, to be double that size and still surrounded by black bars. With lots of time, it should not be hard to make the interface, some kind of fullscreen, with proper aspect ratios, black bars on the sides, and then multiplayer would behave normally in correct widescreen with the current fixes. Each game would need a separate patch to handle all the menu screens, not affecting, multiplayer, other than fixing menu aspect ratio, as some games had changes made, any mods that mess with menu screens wouldn't be native compatible, but it would work with the patched version of all games.
I am looking into this.
This should be rectified, the smaller compass should appear at lower resolutions and should kick in above a 1200 height on the newest release!
FOV settings are in the game, but get reset by server in Multiplayer. I will look into this as a Singleplayer setting in the future.
Hello, I have posted an update today, that has some of the suggestions you provided implemented. Please check it out when you get the chance.
Hello,
So the compass fix pk3 file was not created by me. I looked into the code before, but I am not certain how to fix the sizing correctly. If someone else could create it, I would be happy to add it to the community launcher. But I do agree a low tier fix would be good for the mod, essentially keep the compass same size as retail, but not stretched. I wish new menus could be made for widescreen compatibility as well. Perhaps in time.
Thank you for taking the time to download the mod, please feel free to share it with any friends who love Medal of Honor and rate the mod.
Yeah Windows DPI settings can play havoc with older games. Not much we can do about it really, other than setting them to 100%.
