This application was designed to launch all MOHAA titles from one place. You simply select your installed location to apply the patch. The launcher is designed to Launch MOHAA & Expansions from any directory of your choosing, replace the Gamespy Master Server with the Community Master Server (xNULL), provide a Compass fix for Widescreen in SH/BT and automatically apply High Settings & 1080P Screen Resolution by Default. Update 1.0.0.7 focuses on the following fixes. This is mostly a bug fix after the previous downtime issue we had last year. Happy New Year!
The following fixes will be applied from the installation:
-Fixed website detection to allow web element to fail gracefully
-When Applying Settings, Check if MOHAA, MOHAAS, and MOHAABT are Running, closes any instance, then waits 5 seconds
Due to the website outage in the past, a fallback mode has been better implemented. This is good for the longevity of the project in case your local network is down or even if things go down on our end.

I dropped the 1.0.0.7 installer today to help mitigate some of those false positives that Windows Defender was having. I even saw issues with the update feature failing to function. This should mitigate the request to update. I may set version 1.0.0.8 to disable the auto-update feature if issues cannot be sorted. Hope the new installer comes in handy!
During the installation of this launcher my Windows defender gives a warning about Trojan:Win32/Leonem
Anyone else get this? is it a false positive? (probably false but does anyone KNOW for sure?)
False Positive. I developed this with Windows Defender installed on my Dev Machine.

I have a problem, when i start installing my windows defender says it detects trojans and stop the installing process.
Do i press to ignore it or is it actually a trojan? :/
i assume its detecting a trojan when trying to auto update?
that's what happened to me. but if i just click no to updates and just don't update its fine. it only happens when trying to update to the latest version.
its probably a false positive, but if your worried about it just don't update it. click no when it tries to update. you can just stay on the old version. its fine.

Today I have released the latest version. During some off time in December I dug back into the code to help mitigate the issues with the launcher caused by the web outage. The launcher should more gracefully handle a website outage and fallback into the offline mode correctly.
I also fixed some issues with how settings are updated if the software happens to be running. There are also a few other things in code that were corrected including mentioning support for EA App, as Origin is more or less going away.

This might sound trivial, but are there any prerequisite software requirements for installing the newest launcher? I had no issues with the old stable version, but after updating to the latest one, I encountered a problem. The text inside the dialog box appears cut off, as if the window is not scaling properly. The box is so small that I can't view anything below the boxes for the resolution setting.
right click the exe and goto properties > compatibility> change high dpi settings and enable override high dpi scaling and set it to application. that fixed it for me.
I have not made any major changes. It is built on the latest version of Vb.net which should still work on Windows XP or 7. Are you sure resolution scaling in windows isn's causing an issue. Also please send me a screenshot. Thanks.
I have sent the pictures to your profile; I hope you have received them. I am not familiar with MODDB, so I am unsure about the proper way to submit them. Nevertheless, the last version (v1.0.0.6) works absolutely wonderfully for my needs, and I appreciate that. Thank you for that! It could just be a quirk with my setup here. Cheers!
