I have to agree with Cryrid on this one. He's one of the few, who actually puts forth valid arguments. The rest of you are acting like cheap bastards. With a big enough team even a single year can be enough to make a good game. It seems that you are all ****** that it took them so fast to make another game. Others are ****** that they still haven't made Episode 3. How can you please people like these?

Hi, I'm new to Unreal Tournament 3 modding, and I'm trying to make a mod that turns Unreal Tournament 3 into a fighting game.

You know what would look awesome? If you made a system or script or whatever, where the contrast increases, when you take damage. This tunnel would look awesome with some really saturated contrast...

I tend to picture things in my head when I hear music and when I hear this I think of a factory, dark, cold, grim, metal constructions everywhere and when the 2 bright notes start interchanging, I think of like 2 colorful birds fly into the factory and fly around the ceiling and through the metal constructions and all the workers looking up and just staring, cause they've never seen anything as beautiful as a the 2 birds before.
Really like this song conveyes the feelings that you explained in the description.

What software do you use, cause seriously those drums are epic and just the thing I need for a piece (that's what I call my songs - "pieces" lol) I'm making. And that lead thing is just epic... what is it? what's the instrument called?

BTW, the song sounds really epic, like after a huge battle, camera panning over a huge battlefield full of bodies and then it lowers to the field and the camera shows people lying there, fighting for their last breath and other mourning their loved ones lost on that field. That's what comes to mind when I hear it, really good work.

Yeah, I noticed that like 5 minutes after writing that comment. :D I'm kinda slow... Anyways, I would like to hear some reviews, in particular, do you think that the second guitar (the silent strum panned to the left) is too silent, I think it shoudl be louder. Of course, that's still work in progress, so that theme will evolve, I will make another one that's based around the same notes just a bit more upbeat for an action sequence.

Yeah, maybe that could be arranged. Anyway, I don't record the guitar, I write it in Guitar Pro and then export as midi, import into Reason and try to make it sound good there.

Yeah, your concept artist has a great style.

Nothing beats Reason. Hell, if I could imports wav. files in it, I'd marry it... And have beautiful, reasonable children...

Hi, I'm new here. I've been writing music for 3 years now, but mostly for the band I'm in (others do nothing :D). As of late, I've become more attracted to movie scores and game soundtracks.
I do a lot of dark, ambient stuff and sometimes some really really light beach, hawaii-like stuff, so yeah... I also incorporate some heavy guitars or just some light delay guitars.
I have mostly drawn musical influences for Deftones, The Cure, Team Sleep, Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill OST FTW!).

Do you need people who could contribute to the soundtrack?

looks awesome. In crysis all the cars sort of bump around and don't drive too smooth. It would be awesome to see this car sort of glide.
Also, when I see this car I think about noir. lol But that's a good thing, dark stories rock.

I saw in your site that you already have a bunch of musicians, but I was hoping I could sort of maybe contribute a song or two for the soundtrack. Of course, I would need to know what style you want, what mood and all that.

I really like the art direction and the idea behind it all.

I was interested in the soundtrack. As it's "retro-futuristic", is there going to be sort of jazzy music or more ambient?

Recently, I've pretty much made my game and movie choices based on the soundtrack and if this one has a good one, I would check it out.
