James, it opens via notepad. Doesn't appear to be a way of saving 'read-only'?

Hi all - I've just installed V4, after spending a day with V3. BRILLIANT mod, even with its few bugs and crashes. However, I'm struggling to turn the HUD OFF for that extra immersion..! I've followed the readme file to the letter and done the following as stated below -- yet F6 doesn't deactivate the HUD..? F7 works fine regarding graphics etc . . .

Any ideas please..?

I've already done this:

Post Installation (Optional disable-hud key)
Head to My Documents\My Games\Aliens Colonial Marines\PecanGame\Config\ and open PecanInput.ini with a text editor
Under the heading [Engine.PlayerInput] insert the following line
Bindings=(name="F6",Command="Togglehud")
