It should be like that. Longbows at leats do have a longer range than crossbows. This very fact determined the outcome of many battles.

Has the mod not been updated yet? I can't see Papal States yet.
Well, that can easily apply to before the war. It's understood he had always been violent and *****. Cone to think of it, Robert was probably a horrible person. Not a good guy with some bad stuff, but like genuinly awful.
I kinda imagine them with a strong 1300s vibe, lots of mail, bits of plate here and there. Maybe a tabard or something like it? Connigton always truck me as a very militaristc house, as if disciplone were their whole thing.
Take your time. If it's gonna be anything like what you've until now the wait is worth it, good results can't be rushed.
Yup. Showrunners decided from the start that ages would have to be upped quite a bit, specially in the case of Dany, because of all the sex and violence involved. This meant that somewhat young characters (like Ned or Robert) were suddenly middle aged. Although to be fair they did describe Ned as looking much older than he was.
Pillage my village if you will, but I have to ask. I know there has been some back and forth on this issue (not gonna happen, might happen, give it a lot of time perhaps might happen) kind of like with the Roberts Rebellion thing, and I kind of lost track.
What's the current state of affairs on this issue? The mod is already great as it is (only reason I bought the gane aside from 1212ad), but it would be awesome to se the bros without bann-o's.
Oooooh. I know people must've asked a million times, but I guess this means we'll see Targaryen Westerosi units?
Wait... No halbardiers? I wasn't expecting swiss guard per se, but halberds would be nice, if it's possible.
DONDARRION YES!!!
Will you at some point do the Brotherhood without Banners?
Shouldn't the shields be round? We don't really see them in the show, but the books explicitely say that dornish people use characteristically round shields.
I see ships on the horizon!!
Yup. Armies back then were a f***ing circus. This is accurate.
No heavy cav then? They are westerosi exiles after all
Congrats on the mod, I've been a huge fan for a very long time, absolutely love it, its one of the best mods (perhaps the best) I've seen for Attila, more so considering you did it on your own.
That being said I'm wondering abiut your plans for the Golden Company and the crownlands; do you intendt to inclide elephants, cavalry, skirmishers (the books mentioned a mix of crossbows, longbows, curved bows and even a few massive goldenheart bows used by summer islanders)?
Do you intend in including cersei's new queensguard or the scorpions?
I know these are all a huge, far stretch and the mod is already amazing as it is, but I'm just curious.
Holy ****, I suspected there was some beef between you guys but that was definitely a **** move. Creative theft is no joking mattee and the overall story of it is just nasty. It's that limd of cancerous "creative" model that os ruining the game industry, ripping people off just to push put a ****** product you can profit from as fast as you can. Kudos to you people for actually caring about your product, the huge effort you are clearly putting into it and the respect for history, despite all the setbacks. I for one am happy to wait for the finished mod, and for the moment custom battle is already pretty ******* great. Carry on, lads.
I would lile to upvote this comment 90 times.
From a 300 meter distance.
With a counterweight.
I believe the historically acurate term is Greatest Land of Kurwastan.
I'm wondering, when you finally include the Papal States, will you include a swiss halberd unit with 189 guards in it? I know it's a bit beyond the time period, but it would be awesome. Do it for us. But not just that. Do it for the grace, for the might of our lord. For the home of the holy
For the faith, for the way of the sword. For those who gave their lives so boldly.
wait, what statue?
I noticed lithuania has no tier 3 units. Is that permanent or will it be expanded in the future?
Hey, Kudos for the dedication to doing it for free. That is genuinly admirable. The gaming industry needs more people with this level of dedication and I really hope you guys get eventually picked up by a company, although I would be a lot happier if you people managed to start your own. Anyways, thanks again for all the dedication. Just the current state of the mod and custom battles were good enough to get me to buy Attila, which is in my opinion CA's worst game to date. You should be proud of just how far your have made it already.
Just realized that the Sultante of Rum roster isn't actually updated (none of the new announced units). Is it being patched or has it been scrapped?
Maybe it's a reference to Monty Python's "Life of Brian".
Wait, wasn't wales going to be in the campaign as well?
Also, if Wales and the Dauphine join together, could you create the Grand Realm of Cetacea?
1. Yeah, sorry if I sound like a smartass or something. I literally have no idea about coding, but I was wondering wether or not it is possible to simulate the same actions for a shield when for example the pavise spearmane form testudo or shield wall (like if there was a third invisible arm, but don't mind me I'm completely clueless here) while the rest of the model still behaves like when they fire. Also, aren't some HRE mele unts cappable of throwing axes? Can they do that while staying in shieldwall? Just throwing in whatever comes to mind.
2. Oooooh so we might eventually see them? Just the possibility makes me tremble.
Also, sorry for the bad grammar. Perks of typing from a phone while switching autocorrect from one language to another.
