Camping is something you can do on medium and long adventures
but not on short ones
Buy stuff guy (isnt this what they are all called?) gives you fire logs for this
Once camped, you can heal, buff stats for battles, and de-stress
all done with special camping skills that are different than combat skills
And you better have one adventurer that has a "no surprise attack" skill
if you get attacked at night, all the healing and de-stress will likely be wasted
I have not seen one night battle end up with the adventurers better off than when they camped
