Hey man,

So I downloaded your new version and tested it. I didnt realize it at first but I noticed something pretty significant. Every New game sidorovich will offer the exact same weapons every time and only offer a 9mm suppressor and rarely will vary.

Thought I should give you a heads up. There is still a UI problem Icons for gear do not appear correctly like I mentioned before.

Hi Massicio,

I wanted your opinion on something, Now my Build COC+AO+OA+Smurths+4AM seems to be running ok, except I found a new issue some of the icons in th trader menu's are incorrect for example the Gas mask appears as 3 silencers, the soldier uniform 3 silencers and a under barrel grenade launcher. I find it odd Also after repeated attempts of different saves and new games I have yet to encounter a single silencer to in the trader menu.

Your thoughts would be appreciated & happy new years.

4AM doesnt have a nimble.ltx but that gave me an idea I took the one from AO and it worked everything is reflecting properly.

and thanks for the code the issue was fixed.

I reached out the mod author at 4AM in pripryat and we were able to make things work properly in terms of the trading and economy.

But nimble seems to be still broken we double checked and it does seem your Mod changes something with nimble's trading.

as well as here whats writte instead of Azazel in the character selection menu "St_cap_check_azazel_mode"

Your Save game will most likely crash everytime. It best to start over. It happens sometimes when you try to add an old save to a new intall freshly modded.

It could be certain conditions of the your saved game state thats not adjusting properly to the new changes.

If you are using the optional file that could cause a problem with Smurths. if you arent it should be fine.

I did do that everything appears to work fine except for nimble.

Also I saw your issue I believe I know what is the problem your using autumn winds mod which requires not Smurfs addon but, this

try a new install and have the load order like this

AO > OA > 4AM > 4AM OA patch. > Autumnal Winds > dynamic Hud > DRX Questlines.

Is your load order like this AO > OA > Smurths Dynamic Hud > Smurths Dynamic Hud patch > 4AM > 4AM OA patch.?

because it's extremely stable with me except for the game's economy becomes broken.

I do believe I may know the issue is in Autumnal Winds it says Misery-style mask hud overlay (requires CoC Dynamic Hud addon) thats not Smurths Dynamic Hud the mod author was refering to
Moddb.com

due to the fact its a different addon it maybe causing conflicts which I am sure of.

try a fresh intall and your load order should be like this

> AO > OA > 4AM > 4AM OA patch > Autumnal Winds > Dynamic Hud > DrXQuestLines >

FYI in terms of mod what I found most stable your load order should always start with balance changing mods (weapons & armors & Tweaks) followed by texture mods then immersion mods (carry weight, quest lines, fast travel) because most of the immersion mods do not heavily impact the game's engine so always leave DRX's mods to last.

So I went on the same load order added SDH patch and then overwritten it with 4AM+4AM patch and the game launched.

But as I expected the economy changed:

1. Prices for weapons, armors, scopes changed to vanilla AO
2. Traders Buying broken weapons start @ changed to default 70%
3. Nimble is broken as mentioned before only offers to sell a pair of binoculars.
4. This one I am not sure of but I think it also affected weapon distribution among stalkers. Loners had guns they shouldn't have (almost all of them with Modern gear)

My original thoughts were the two work well together but the economy doesn't. Your mods trader values should be the one reflecting in the game's not SDH,

but you should know 1 major issue occurs from SDH mod, Nimble's trade store disappears and only offers to sell a pair of binoculars.

I will attempt to mod a new install like this

COC - AO - OA - SDH - 4AM - 4AM compatibility

I wont add SDH Patch because I read one his comments which said due to his current file structure and updates the compatibility is not necessary because it doesnt add anything new or fix anything.

Hey Massicio,

I was speaking with Nuor the guy currently handling Smurth's Dynamic Hud, he informed me of the following:

"4 A.M is not currently supported. I do not have it installed and given the number of files it changes I wouldn't be surprised if there are conflicts. For now I'd say use it at your own risk...

I will be simplifying the files structure of smurths on the next patch; as much of the current structure was made unnecessary with moving of C-4 to options. I'm hoping someone with the skills and desire to tinker with these kinds of compatibility changes will take over for Thales in his absence a sit isn't really my cup of tea ;)."

By any chance is there a compatibility patch in the works?

Both mods are great and if they would work together that would make COC so much more, with your mods technical aspects and improvements added with immersion of the dynamic hud it would be awesome.

Hi Nuor Happy Holidays firstly, I had a couple questions Now I am currently running a mod order on 1.4.22 AO + OA + 4 A.M. In Pripyat and they are working fine.

Quick note possibly a bug it seems only after adding your Mod (with or without 4 A.M. In Pripyat) nimble's trade options disappear and he only offers a pair of binoculars. also with the new game mode Azazel when you are in the main menu and you select a new game the TXT for the game mode is replaced with a code.

My first question to you was is 4 A.M. In Pripyat compatible with your mod?

Is there any chance you can release an animations only mod without the hud options?

Just a heads up I did several attempts of modding and 1.4.20 works and is extremely stable.

on 1.4.22 The crash seems to be caused by one of 2 things either because outfit addon, is yet to be updated to the lastest patch or there is something wrong with 4AM compatibility with OA with the lastest version you released.

also heres an interesting note, 1.4.20 version seemed to be more stable, when I originally modded it all 3 mods worked no problems, but with 1.4.22 after adding AO, OA & 4AM when I start a new game it cashes (this is all done on a fresh install as well that has been patched to 1.4.22)

Your input would be appreciated.

So I haven't Done a post like this in a while, I am long time fan of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series and I am a huge fan of this mod.

Upon reviewing the mod it gives you the foundation and with the addons (till the mod is complete) you got your building blocks to create your own S.T.A.L.K.E.R. experience.

Note: from this point forward I will refer to addons as mods.

I have been playing the game again once more none stop, except this time I am trying to find the best experience possible so I have attempted to mix and match different mods and see what I get and each result was an improvement on the next but still I havent reached the best S.T.A.L.K.E.R. experience possible I can create.

This is why I am reaching out to the community for help, I went ahead and created an analysis of different mods I used with feedback and the results I found, Included Positives, Negatives & game breaking experiences (now granted those are subjective based on my preferences so they can be viewed differently by someone else)

My objective is to help others like myself find the best experience through the analysis I created and for the community to give me their input on what the final build should include.

I broke it down to Essentials mods (highlighted in green), TBD Mods (highlighted in yellow) and Excluded mods (highlighted in red).

What I am trying to figure out based on my previous trial and errors with the mods, I need you guys to decide on the TBD mods that will go into my final (as of now) build for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. COC
