Out of interest, shouldn't this technically be known as a 'Centaur', rather than a Cromwell?
*edit* whoops, my mistake, i forgot there was a Cromwell version too. Carry on.
What does food have to do with anything?
Hey, if you can convey all of that in your mod, your on to a winner!
Thing is, it isnt a alternative ending. Everything that happened in the game is officially considered 'canon' in the aliens universe now.
Not to nitpick, but Military Police? I don't think MP's wear police uniforms since its part of the armed forces. None the less, i'm looking forward to this mod. Nice work!
Er, its been said many a time that it doesnt need HL2 installed. Just the Source SDK base thats free on steam.
Could you make a vid showing it crossing the gap? IIRC arma2's 'physics' is iffy at times so it would be nice to see how well this does in trench crossing. Nice work anyhow.
Pity there isnt any OTT breast jiggle physics for that authentic fanservice!
Joke aside, nice progress on this.
Because everybody loves stereotypes, amirite?
Out of interest, will you be adding Polish and French armies too? If you want to depict early war having those factions will be pretty important. Rarely done, also.
Call me old fashioned, but i use a mobile phone for texting and phoning only. Not once have i *ever* used the internet or used/downloaded apps on any of my mobiles.
A PC fulfills my gaming/internet needs perfectly.
There is a second gauss cannon/Tau Cannon. I'll be damned if i recall where it was though, but there are at least 2 in the game.
It doesn't use Halflife:Source. Just halflife. Thats whats going wrong for you.
E-100? T-29? PzKw III/IV?? You've been playing World of Tanks haven't you? Might be an idea to remember both the timeframe and whether it actually makes sense in a mod that claims some semblance of reality.
Nice one. Been looking forward to this update for a long time :)
Well the T95 is even more silly to suggest, considering it was designed in the 1950's...
Im curious, considering D&D Faerun is a magic heavy setting, are you gonna attempt to incorporate magic into battles/campaign map in some form or other? Obviously there are a fair few limitations on the engine but still, im curious if you shall attempt it.
Yes! Its quite uncanny isn't it? Some awesome work there. Eagerly waiting on 2.6
Indeed, the original .50 cal that was introduced in WW1 was originally intended as an Anti Tank weapon.
Its by that very point, a film isn't interactive. Your only as immersed as you are watching the screen. Atleast in game form it allows much greater freedom to focus and explore at more your own pace. But then perhaps you should be treating this less like a game and more interactive entertainment, which, byrights is what games are about anyway, no?
I'm guessing from your responce also, you never liked/tried the Stanley Parable mod either?
Last i heard the Pershing didn't actually see any front line combat during WW2. Mainly a support role near the end.
I tried stomping my crops. They are fine.
There are quicker/better/more efficient ways to send missions to a colleague than to shove it onto ModDB and wait for it to be authorized...
@TemplarVII
You are aware that the Totenkopf insignia predates WW2, don't you? It was used in a Prussian hussar regiment and then continued its tradition all the way through to WW1. Simply attributing it to the SS is foolish.
Quite frankly, consigning anything to the 'history bin' simply because it has a distasteful past is more disrespectful. Better to never forget what happened, knowing why it was bad and learn from it then let it be lost and forgotten.
