yO! guys i have some issues with gamepad compitable.Sticks don't work well.it's simple playstation-style gamepad logitech dual action with 2 sticks. for some reason game's options don't give me ways to fix that.
In the same time i'm playing in alchemilla mod without troubles.so i have no idea where is the root of an evil.someone plz help!)))
Well,I bought the game from Steam and I don't really know what to say.
I really liked the story. You know, just my personal taste,: mysterious, a bit sad, kinda creepy at some points.The game has almost no replay value unless you want to hear all the story slightly altered from the beginning.The visuals and the music were stunning but I didn't really enjoy the storytelling. There's a difference between storytelling and the story itself. As I said before the story was awesome, but the game mostly feels like a cutscene where you have to keep holding the "W" button.It is fun at the beginning as you explore around the island but it looses interest shortly after and you end up walking forward and listening to the narrator talk.
Like many of you here, I find this game innovative in its own way,but it lacks the main ingredient of games.Interactivity. Interactivity is why videogames are not called movies or books etc.
Despite all that,I kinda enjoyed it and I would give it a 6/10.
Anyway,this is just my opinion,sorry for any grammatical mistaces :)
Despite being very short, I really enjoyed every moment in Dear Esther. There should be more people trying to develop this sort of games nowadays.

What is the difference between this and the Dear Esther mod for Half Life? Which one came first? Just curious! I've heard nothing but great things, and when I went to look into it, I see two versions, this an dthe mod. :D
