Nvm, turns out after some further reading from another source, you don't have to adjust the resolution again in-game, it's already set from start-up with whatever you entered in the custom fields.

I am unable to get the widescreen fix working; trying to make it run for 1920x1080 width and height, but don't even see that option in the game video resolution menu. Also, anytime I choose the highest, which is the 1600x ?, the game crashes.

How do we update to this stuff, I mean where do we get this update or is it directly put on when a person joins the server that has the update?

When I hit the download button it took me to the Gamefront download page for the manual. I clicked on the download button and it took me to the countdown page and when it reached 0 the screen went blank and it said "403 Forbidden". How do I get around this? Thanks in advance for the help.

I was looking at BF1918 one day and saw a BF1918inside server. ?? What is this did they reopen it or something. It would be great if they started it up again!

I see that I can get 128 player support for client by downloading FHR .16 which I need to do anyway so please disregard my previous comment I can just do it with .16 anyway.

Hi Ziba128! I know its been a long time but I require your help once more. I don't need the widescreen fix or the compatibility fix but I do need the 128 bot fix. Is there any way I can get this without redoing these other ones. Thanks for all the help in the past and I hope you'll be able to provide a solution again.

I have easier solution, on this site there is Forgotten Hope Revisited page. On that is patch for FH running with no compatibility mode. It worked for me and that way you don't have to deal with the Punk Buster update problem. I believe you'll find this much easier than running it in compatibility mode.

Is there any secondary servers that are some what active that I might be able to connect with? This really stinks but the problem I was having with Battle of Kursk, now the samething is happening with a different map called Op. Goodwood except it works on instant battle, so don't really know why it's not working on campaign mode. I've got FHR full, compatibilty mode and mappacks 6 and 7 installed and running along with the game.rfa download from sendspace. This is really starting to get annoying. Thanks for the help:]

I have one more question. What are the map packs? Are they extra maps that add on to the original maps or do they replace old maps and make them better. And then why are there only #6 and #7 map packs, I can't find the ones before them. Thanks for a answer.

Nevermind, I fixed it.

I have a problem. This will be about the fifth time I've wanted to download FH but this time I can't download it. When downloading FH, window pops up and says that the download has been interrupted and it won't let me resume the download because it can't be resumed. So I'm kinda stuck here. Please someone help me out.

What's the difference between BF1861 Client and BF1861 .11 they're both full version but is the Client one part of the .11 one thanks in advance for the anwser.

Thanks, I got that part done ok now. But the patch you made for me at sendspace messed up the single-player maps for the original game and FH so now I can't play single-player on either of them, is there any way around this without uninstalling the game and its add ons if there isn't I can always just reinstall it on my own,redownload FH and start from scratch with these patches.

Ok I've run into a problem with this file I was going to rename. I was going to rename it but somehow it went to a page where it said I had to move it to a different place like internet or adobe etc. So I did it to the internet explorer thinking that was where it was in the first place but it has now erased all records of the previous version of the file.I'm really worried that I've just erased a bunch of important files on the game, should I try to reinstall it if there's nothing that can be done.This is really nerve-racking me, please answer for help. Great, thanks for figuring this out for me:] I will try the sendspace.com download. But the first step I'm a little confused, when you say make a backup of the default game.rfa file. How do you make a backup for this? If you could just give me some short-step instructions on how to do this I would greatly appreciate it. I'm kind of an idiot on technical computer stuff, some of it anyways. Thanks again

Well... I don't really know about that because the computer I have that downloaded onto has a virus so can't do much online right now. I will be having it fixed next week. Now as for info about the map, I did some research about this map. This is the really weird part, IT DOESN'T EXIST. So I don't think it would be in the files you are talking about. But even though the map doesn't exist for FH, people created this map from the BF1942 mod development kit and have it as an add-on to FH. Now how that got on to the original game I don't know. Do you think you have a solution to this very annoying problem? P.s. If I redownloaded FH when I get the computer fixed do you think that would get rid of this mess? Thanks again for the help!

Really? When I downloaded FH off of moddb the description said all complete maps in mod or something like that of version 7.0. This is off topic but when I was doing FH campaign when I got to map "Battle of Kursk" the game skipped over it and went to different map called "Zielona Gora-1944" or something like that,[which I know is a real map]so when I tried to load that map the game crashes to desktop.?? Is it possible that this map doesn't exist and this was a downloading glitch? Thanks for answering all of my questions, really do appreciate it:]

Thanks for the answer ziba,as long as I'm here I would like to ask another question is the map Battle of Kursk part of the mappacks? When I try to load the map on FH it crashes to desktop and when I look for it in the map list its not there either. So is it in your selection of mappacks #6 and #7.
