Thank you for this!
Wish you all the luck, mate. It's great you guys still dedicate your talent to BF2.
Very useful, even for modding veterans.
Good one.
A bit late to the party, damn.
Sweet work, Seesaw.
And also the guys: Develop013, PR team, Ponysaurus, Beenox, Alpha Project team.
With so MANY FPS/tactical shooters on my system and yet BF2 is still the go to game/sim. Thanks to all these talented people.
It'll be great, I'm sure! The previous one was already very interesting, wish you guys all the luck.
This is a nice surprise. Some mods show great potential: this one IS very well done in several departments.
Hope to see more of it. [Maps, at least. A few more, if possible.]
This link does not work for me, Terminatys.
Anyway: your mod does have a lot of potential. Suppression effects, sounds, objects in maps - good.
Keep at it. A good one.
PS: there seems to be an issue with the Dalian map. While one does have a lot of action happening in front (in the direction of the opposite base, climbing the hill) and our soldiers are going there, we cannot ("you're leaving the combat area").
I definitely like what I see, Terminatys.
Just my stance on this matter, no doubt others value gameplay (with absurd ballistics and infantry physicals - physicals, not physics, as some think), but I tend to err on the side of a baseline realism. Ballistics have to be spot on even if military details are slightly overlooked. Therefore, I will look into the sort of values you've used for your mod. If they're right up there, then it is a really great mod.
By the way: you can set the height over bore correctly on BF2. 95% of modders don't use this for some reason or other, but here it is.
My go to mod for weeks now. And an update! Great work.
Downloading now.
Thank you for the hard work!
All the best, guys. Can't wait to try this! Watched the video, it's good.
ESKoz:
when I first downloaded it I didn't quite feel captivated by your mod.
Nowadays?
It IS, without a shadow of a doubt, my go to BF2 mod, and given that I launch BF2 almost every single day, that's quite telling.
You managed a phenomenal ambiance through small, delicious details: sounds, gun animation, lighting effects, shaders.
Right up there with Heat of Battle, Damocles and a couple of others.
Thank you for the great work.
